  • Publication number: 20230176450
Abstract: An optical device with a magnetic mounting and dismounting mechanism and its mounting and dismounting tool can serve as an optical device set. At least a partial region of a frame of the optical device is made of a magnetically permeable material or a magnetic material. The front side of the frame has at least one first engaging portion. At least a partial region of the mounting and dismounting tool is made of a magnetic material, and one of its sides has at least one second engaging portion. The mounting and dismounting tool can magnetically attract and stick on the optical device to mount the optical device to a camera lens, functional lens or adapter ring, and/or dismount the optical device from the camera lens, functional lens or adapter ring.

  • Patent number: 10268045
Abstract: An adjustable multiple-ring polarizing neutral-density filter assembly with an elastic engaging member for axial ring securement includes a fixedly connecting ring and a first pivotally connecting ring. The fixedly connecting ring is mounted with a polarizing lens and has a first end threadedly connectable to a camera lens and an opposite second end axially provided with a receiving groove. The elastic engaging member is mounted in the receiving groove and has a free end extending out of or forced into the receiving groove. The first pivotally connecting ring is mounted with another polarizing lens and has one end pivotally connected to the second end of the fixedly connecting ring and circumferentially provided with an engaging portion. The free end of the elastic engaging member can press against the bottom wall of any of the engaging recesses in the engaging portion to maintain the corresponding light-reducing effect while being shaken.

  • Patent number: 8976465
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a multi-ring optical filter assembly, which includes a positioning frame having one end threadedly connected with a front side of a camera lens, a first rotatably connecting frame fixedly provided therein with a first lens (e.g., an ND filter or a polarizer) and provided with a first curved surface adjacent to the other end thereof and extending in an axial direction, an adapter frame provided with a second curved surface adjacent to one end thereof and rotatably connected with the first curved surface, and a second rotatably connecting frame fixedly provided therein with a second lens (e.g., an ND filter or a polarizer) and having one end rotatably connected with the other end of the adapter frame. Thus, the two lenses can be rotated with respect to the camera lens, respectively, for achieving the independent adjustment of the rotation angle of each lens.

  • Patent number: 8929006
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a pivotally connected structure, which includes a positioning frame having one end threadedly connectable with a front side of a camera lens; a pivotally connecting frame having one end pivotally connectable with the other end of the positioning frame, and provided therein with a receiving space which is configured for receiving a lens (e.g., protective lens, ND filter, or polarizer); and an engaging frame having one end provided with a pressing ring and having an outer periphery formed with a second curved surface which is pivotally connectable with a first curved surface provided within the other end of the pivotally connecting frame; such that the pressing ring presses against the periphery of the lens and thereby positions the lens in the receiving space, and the angle of the lens with respect to the camera lens can be adjusted by rotating the pivotally connecting frame.
