  • Patent number: 10544807
Abstract: Devices, apparatus, mechanisms, systems and methods for flush mounted fans such as hugger fans for easy mounting by pre-attaching a bracket on a motor to a ceiling mounted plate by a hook, the plate having noise isolation pads. Raised alignment tabs and female receptacles on the ceiling plate and motor bracket for easily aligning the bracket to the ceiling plate, along with captive fasteners to attach the motor bracket to the ceiling plate. The alignment tabs allow the installer to position the bracket to the plate by sliding the bracket against the plate so that captive fasteners on the bracket adjacent to the alignment tabs are aligned with fastener holes on the plate. Finally, the installer can easily screw the captive fasteners into the holes for an easy to install, secure and wobble free installation between the motor bracket and the ceiling plate.

  • Patent number: 10502228
Abstract: Systems, devices, apparatus and methods for easily attaching and detaching blades to flywheels/rotors on motors by inserting tab portions of the root ends of the blades into sockets on the flywheel/rotor. Inserting the root end of the blades into the slots causes raised ridges to slide into and snapably lock into grooves, which automatically locks the blades to the flywheel/rotor on the ceiling fan. Bending or pulling or pushing a free end of a sheath separates the ridge from the groove which allows the root ends of the blades to be released and easily pulled out from the sockets. Another embodiment has two free ends which can be pinched or pushed together with a hinge portion between, that also separates ridges from grooves, and allows the blades to be pulled from the flywheel.

  • Patent number: 10323829
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for adjusting and focusing a beam light spread to separate beams spreads of approximately 80 degrees, approximately 60 degrees, approximately 40 degrees and approximately 20 degrees in a spotlight. The spotlight can be used in landscape and pathway spot lights. A disc with three lenses thereon can be positioned in front of an LED (light emitting diode) lights source having a primary lens in front of the light source. The primary lens can adjust the light spread to approximately 80 degrees. Each of the three lenses on the disc can adjust the light spread further to approximately 20 degrees, approximately 40 degrees, and approximately 60 degrees. The spotlight can be mounted on a ground based stake. A mechanically rotatable knob/wheel can be physically rotated by the user to mechanically adjust the single disc to the four different positions in order to change the beam angle to anyone of the four light spread angles. The light can be mounted indoors as well as outdoors.

  • Patent number: 9668053
Abstract: Audio landscape/pathway lights, devices, apparatus, systems and methods using BLUETOOTH wireless communication technology with integrated speakers, receivers/transmitters, outdoor speaker, PCB control card, driver, amplifier and FM receivers/transmitters. A single primary unit, which can be a pathway (landscape) light, can have a BLUETOOTH receiver and an FM transmitter, a speaker and a light (LED) and LED control. Secondary units can each contain a pathway/landscape light and FM receivers and speaker, and LED control. A Bluetooth enabled device from a portable digital device can send BLUETOOTH audio signals to the primary unit which automatically relays the audio signal to the secondary units so that the audio signal (music, words, and the like) can be synchronized and played simultaneously at all the units without lag time, echoes or reverberation, and without any other undesirable noise effects.

  • Patent number: 9279428
Abstract: Devices, apparatus, systems, and methods for the quick installation of ceiling fan blades for ceiling fans. The invention uses a blade with three slots running in a linear direction from the mounting end of the blade, and three pre-attached fasteners upwardly projecting from the outer end of a blade arm. One of the fasteners is springably bendable with inwardly extending clip edge, another fastener that forms an upright post, and a third fastener having a top end with an outwardly extending lip edge. Another embodiment can include four slots per blade and four pre-attached upwardly protruding fasteners per blade arm. A novel method of installing each blade can include angling the blade to the mounting ends of the blade arm so that the outwardly extending lip edge catches on the third slot in from the mounting end of the blade.

  • Patent number: 8632234
Abstract: Pathway and landscape lights, in particular to devices, apparatus, systems and methods of using ground directed pathway and landscape lights with a single or perimeter spaced apart LED (light emitting diode) light sources on a disc mount, with or without an optical fiber arranged in a ring pattern about a perimeter edge of the mount. A light shade lens can have an upper end attached to the lower face of the disc mount, and a bottom end attached to a ground engaging post, so the light emitted from the mount is directed in a 360 degree outwardly expanding direction expanding outward on the ground surface where the ground engaging post is in the center of the 360 degree expanding illumination. A low voltage power source can be used. Alternatively, the light can be solar powered. The light forms uniform light beam emissions without shadow spots effects.

  • Patent number: 8602585
Abstract: Ground directed pathway/landscape lights with perimeter spaced apart LED (light emitting diodes). Disc shaped-mounts have LEDs arranged perimeter edges of a lower face. A shade can have an upper end attached to the lower disc face, and a bottom attached to a post, so light is directed in a 360 degree outwardly expanding direction expanding outward on the ground where the post is in the center of the 360 degree illumination. Another has a single LED on the disc bottom. LEDs can be arranged in different configurations, that include, but not limited to triangular, rectangular, square, hexagon, and the like. The mount can be but not limited to triangular, square, rectangular, hexagon, and the like. Light can be powered by low voltage or solar, and has for uniform light beam emissions without shadow spots and effects.

  • Patent number: 8418981
Abstract: Mechanisms, devices, apparatus, systems and methods of installing ceiling fan motor housings to ceiling mounted plates without using loose fasteners such as screws, and the like. A plate having a plurality of slots about the perimeter can be pre-mounted to a ceiling. A motor housing having clips on interior perimeter edges of the base can be positioned so that the clips are inserted into the slots. Next, the motor housing can be twisted clockwise until the clips lock to the slots allowing the ceiling fan motor to be hung without any loose fasteners. The twist-lock eliminates unsightly fasteners, such as screws underneath the housing, quickens installation time, and is easier and safer than traditional ceiling fan installation techniques.
