  • Publication number: 20240126358
Abstract: An information handling system includes a battery and a charger. The battery provides a battery voltage to a main power rail of the information handling system and is couplable to the main power rail through a switch. The charger has an output coupled to the main power rail and an input coupled to an external power adapter. The power adapter provides a selectable voltage level to the input. The information handling system selects a particular voltage level that is lower than the battery voltage and directs the switch to decouple the battery from the main power rail when the information handling system is in a soft power-off state.

  • Patent number: 8073659
Abstract: Multiple models for various stages of a non-linear process control are developed by clustering perturbation data obtained from the nonlinear process so as to permit multiple local data regions to be identified as a function of substantial similarity between the data, wherein the data of first data set represent the non-linear process. A discrete model corresponding to each of the local data regions is generated. The number of the discrete models may be reduced as a function of prediction error between actual outputs of the process and predicted outputs of the models and as a function of a gap metric based on closed loop similarity and frequency response similarity between the models.

  • Publication number: 20110010662
Abstract: One embodiment of the application provides a system for visualizing trend data of an industrial performance (e.g., utility consumption) of a power plant. The system includes a macro trend view generator, navigator, a pointer position calculator, and a micro trend view controller. The macro trend view generator is configured to generate a macro trend view of a sensed parameter in a display. The navigator is configured to navigate a pointer for locating an area in the macro trend view. The pointer position calculator is configured to calculate a position of the pointer in the macro trend view. The micro trend view controller is configured to generate a micro trend view associated with the located area in the display, as a function of the calculated position of the pointer in the macro trend view.

  • Publication number: 20020056413
Abstract: A chemical solution coating apparatus, having a carrier board and a plurality of spray apparatuses. The carrier board is to carry the wafer to be coated, and the spray apparatuses are located at a periphery of the carrier board to evenly spray chemical solution on the wafer. Since the chemical solution is coated on the wafer in a spray manner, so that the unnecessary lapse and process cost are avoided. The number and spraying angle spray apparatuses can be adjusted to reach an optimum status.

  • Patent number: 6099646
Abstract: A dispensing system used in a spin coater is provided to transport a solvent to a wafer. The dispensing, system includes a switch valve, a sucking-back valve, a solenoid valve, a speed control unit of the sucking-back valve, and a speed control unit of the switch valve. The switch valve controls a solvent dispensing status. The sucking-back valve receives the solvent from the switch valve and exports the solvent to a wafer. The solenoid valve controls the switch valve and the sucking-back valve. The speed control unit of the switch valve is coupled between the switch valve and the solenoid valve and is used for a control of action speed on the switch valve. The speed control unit of the sucking-back valve is coupled between the switch valve and the sucking-back valve, and is used for a control of action speed of the sucking-back valve by a sufficient delay time of action.

  • Patent number: 6062442
Abstract: A photoresist dispensing system used in a photoresist coating machine includes a pump, a sucking-back valve, a solenoid valve, a first pump speed controller, a second pump speed controller and a sucking-back speed controller. The pump is used to transport photoresist and spray a substrate. The sucking-back valve is used to suck back liquid photoresist from a transporting duct end. The solenoid is used to activate or inactivate the pump and the sucking-back valve. The first and the second pump speed controllers are separately coupled between the pump and the solenoid valve, and the sucking-back speed controller is coupled between the sucking-back valve and the sucking-back speed controller is coupled between the sucking-back valve and the route, where is between the pump and the second pump speed controller. Hence, the sucking-back valve produces a sucking force after the pump is inactivated and releases a sucking force after pump is activated.
