  • Patent number: 9826010
Abstract: A wireless network access point implementing a data control system is configured to receive a data stream from a transmitting terminal device and transmit the data stream to a receiving terminal device. The data control system includes a receiving module configured to receive the data stream from the transmitting terminal device, a transmitting module configured to transmit the data stream from the wireless network access point to the receiving terminal device, a speed detecting module configured to detect a current transmission speed of the data stream, a comparing module configured to determine whether the current transmission speed is greater than or equal to a required minimum transmission speed of the data stream, and a managing module configured to stop the wireless network access point from receiving or transmitting the data stream when the current transmission speed is less than the required minimum transmission speed.

  • Publication number: 20170208604
Abstract: A smart home control system includes at least one terminal device configured to capture physical attribute information of a number of users, at least one home appliance, and a control server. The control server determines physical attribute parameters of the users and determines a state of the users. The control server determines a suitable environmental parameter range for each user, determines an overlapping range of the suitable environmental parameter ranges, and calculates a most suitable environmental parameter value according to the overlapping range. The control server determines whether any of the users have a priority ranking and calculates a priority environmental parameter value according to the user having the highest priority ranking.

  • Patent number: 9398098
Abstract: A customer premise equipment (CPE) communicates with both lower-layer and upper-layer network within the LAN that communicates with an ISP server. The CPE searches other CPEs after receiving commands from the upper-layer network and makes port configuration after receiving commands from the upper-layer network, and also configures the default telnet port according to the port number receiving from the upper-layer network. Then the CPE establishes remote communications via the default telnet port with the ISP server. Finally the CPE disabling module disables the telnet service and releases the default telnet port after receiving commands from upper-layer network.

  • Patent number: 8625613
Abstract: A cable modem and a priority setting method thereof receive signaling packets from telephone interfaces and local area network (LAN) interfaces, and preset the signaling packets from telephone interfaces as VoIP packets with a first priority and the signaling packets from the LAN interfaces as LAN packets with a second priority. The cable modem and the priority setting method pick out RTP packets from the VoIP and LAN packets, and classify the RTP packets as VoIP RTP packets and LAN RTP packets. The cable modem and the priority setting method determine whether all of the IP phones are on-hook, and update the LAN RTP packets from the second priority to the first priority in response to all of the IP phones being on-hook. The cable modem and the priority setting method allocate bandwidths for the signaling packets corresponding to the first priority and the second priority.

  • Patent number: 8489713
Abstract: A cable modem stores an original public Internet protocol (IP) address of the cable modem in an original country, and a mapping relationship among a plurality of country codes, a plurality of public IP address ranges, and a plurality of multimedia terminal adapter (MTA) parameter configuration files. The cable modem obtains a new public IP address of a current country in which the cable modem is located. The cable modem determines whether the new public IP address and the original public IP address belong to one of the plurality of public IP address ranges. The cable modem selects one of the plurality of MTA parameter configuration files to configure the cable modem according to the mapping relationship if the new public IP address and the original public IP address belong to different public IP address ranges.
