  • Publication number: 20050020016
Abstract: A method of controlling implantation dosages during coding of read-only memory (ROM) devices is disclosed. According to the method, a semi-manufactured ROM device having a plurality of gates with identically designed gate widths is formed, followed by the formation of a first photoresist layer over the semi-manufactured ROM device. The first photoresist layer is selectively exposed to develop a pattern of pre-code openings, with each pre-code opening being positioned over a word line and between two adjacent bit lines intersecting the word line and with the pre-code openings having substantially identical sizes. A second photoresist layer is then formed over the first photoresist layer, followed by selectively exposing the second photoresist layer to develop a pattern of real-code openings therein, with the real-code openings having substantially identical sizes. A tuned dosage of ions is then implanted through intersections of the real-code and pre-code openings to thereby code the ROM device.

  • Patent number: 6007199
Abstract: A pair of eyeglasses includes an elongated lens unit, a pair of connectors, and a pair of elongated bows. The lens unit has opposite end portions, each of which has an upright lateral edge formed with a positioning notch and is further formed with a positioning hole spaced apart from the upright lateral edge. Each of the connectors has a base portion, and longer and shorter clamping plates which extend from a front end of the base portion and which cooperatively form a receiving groove therebetween for receiving a respective end portion of the lens unit such that the longer clamping plate abuts against a front side face of the lens unit and such that the shorter clamping plate abuts against a rear side face of the lens unit. The receiving groove is provided with a retaining protrusion therein to engage the positioning notch in the respective end portion.

  • Patent number: 5452029
Abstract: An eyeglass frame assembly includes a lens frame body adapted to rest on the nose of the user and having two side portions, each of which has a generally circular horizontal positioning hole formed therethrough, and an engagement device provided in the positioning hole. Each of the positioning holes has two diametrically opposed extensions extending radially and outwardly therefrom. Each of two connectors is adapted to be coupled with the fastener device and includes an integral cylindrical connecting portion engaged within a corresponding one of the positioning holes, and an engagement device which engages a corresponding one of the engagement devices of the frame body so as to prevent rotation of the connecting portions of the connectors within the positioning holes of the frame body. Each of the connecting portions of the connectors is formed integrally with two diametrically opposed projections that protrude radially and outwardly therefrom.
