The side seams are positioned medial of the anterior superior iliac spine. Bar tack stitches are used at the top and at the bottom of the side seams as well as the forward lateral edges of a gusset. The gusset is positioned solely on the front panel.

The mask is configured to position over a sheet of lined paper. The top edge and the bottom edge of the aperture are alignable with respective lines of the sheet of lined paper. A first writing space of the sheet of lined paper is accessible to a writing instrument positioned through the aperture. The mask covers at least one writing space above and one writing space below the first writing space, such that a user is restricted to writing in the first writing space until the mask is repositioned relative to the sheet of lined paper.
