Abstract: Introduced here is a technology that enables a merchant to create customer-targeted, customized communications by use of a merchant platform executing on a financial service system. The merchant platform generates content for communications that is based on a particular customer segment. The customer segment includes one or more groups of customers segmented based on one or more attributes associated with each group of customers. An attribute is determined based on data collected by the financial service system, where the data is related to transaction data of a plurality of merchants.

Abstract: The method for determining at least one colour compatible with an outfit of a user, comprises: —a step (IMP) of importing at least one photographic image (IM) containing a representation of at least one portion of the outfit of the user; —a step (SEG) of segmenting said at least one image (IM), to identify at least one region of interest (S1, S2, S3) in the outfit; —a step (DET) of determining the colour of said at least one region of interest (S1, S2, S3); and —a step (GEN) of generating said at least one colour compatible with the outfit of the user, on the basis of the determined colour of said region of interest (S1, S2, S3) depending on a database (PAL1-PAL4) of compatible colours or on a computational rule (RGL, 11-71) for obtaining compatible colours.

Abstract: A system is provided that includes an advisor device; a user device; and a dispensing device. The advisor device and the user device are configured to perform a communication session with each other that includes transmitting, from the user device to the advisor device, information that includes a desired cosmetic product and information related to a user of the user device; analyzing, by the advisor device, the information received from the user device; and generating and transmitting a recommended cosmetic formula to the user device. The user device is configured to transmit the recommended cosmetic formula to the dispensing device for dispensing the desired cosmetic product.

Abstract: A system is provided that executes a contest that includes displaying an image of a face of a model, among a plurality of models, to a user; receive inputs from the user to adjust a color of a blended cosmetic product to be applied to the face of the model; display the model with the adjusted color selected by the user; receive the image of the face of the model with the adjusted color as an entry of the user; display the entry of the user to a plurality of users and provide the plurality of users an option submit a vote on the entry of the users and entries of other users; output a result of a contest based on an entry receiving a highest number of votes. The system is further configured to output one or more colors of the blended cosmetic product included in the highest vote receiving entries corresponding to an extracted model as a recommendation to a user.
