Abstract: The present invention provides a stretch type fixing mechanism for an electronic device. The stretch type fixing mechanism includes a first component, a second component and a casing having a base plate to carry the first and the second components. The stretch type fixing mechanism includes a first limiting unit having a first wedging section disposed on the casing and a second wedging section disposed on the first component for limiting the first component to move relatively to the base plate in a first direction; a second limiting unit having a third wedging section disposed on the casing and a fourth wedging section disposed on the second component for limiting the second component to move relatively to the base plate in a second direction opposite to the first direction; and a positioning unit disposed on the first component and having a propping portion.

Abstract: A structure and method for electrically connecting a heat dissipating device and an adapting circuit board in an electronic equipment are provided. The electronic equipment has a casing, a motherboard and a hard disk installed in the casing, and an adapting circuit board fixed to the casing. The structure includes a first connector disposed on the adapting circuit board, and a second connector disposed on the heat dissipating device and corresponding to the first connector. The method includes fixing a first connector to the adapting circuit board, wherein the first connector is electrically connected to the adapting circuit board, and the heat dissipating device and the adapting circuit board are electrically connected by plugging the second connector into the first connector so that the heat dissipating device and the adapting circuit board are electrically connected without an electric wire.

Abstract: A fastening mechanism for fastening a module and a second module in the housing of an electronic device is disclosed. The fastening mechanism includes a lid body and a positioning member disposed in the housing. The first module is fixed in the housing by the lid body and the lid body is fastened by the positioning member, which is coupled to and overlaps the second module on the lid body, thereby using a shared common space for concurrently holding the lid body, the first module and the second module in place to save the layout space of the electronic device.
