  • Patent number: 7867319
Abstract: A filled epoxy tubesheet comprises an epoxy filled with a metal, such as aluminum flakes. Embodiments of the filled epoxy tubesheets can bend due to stress on the surface rather than crack. Embodiments of the filled epoxy tubesheet can be used to improve Air Separation Module performance by reducing or eliminating leakage through crack in the tubesheet.

    Filed: April 1, 2008
Date of Patent: January 11, 2011
    Assignee: Honeywell International Inc.
Inventors: Rehan Zaki, Stephen Yates, Tihomir Tonev

  • Publication number: 20070280865
Abstract: An apparatus and method to electrically induce the decomposition of a liquid propellant for propulsion. This is accomplished by providing a reaction chamber that has a first electrode, such as near the center, and the other electrode disposed away from the first electrode. A charge source that is capable of applying voltage is connected to the electrodes. When the reaction chamber is dosed with a propellant such as an aqueous based amine propellant, such as HAN, an electric current flows between the electrodes and the propellant. This decomposes the propellant for power generation.
