  • Publication number: 20250119674
Abstract: A method for operating headphones, in particular in-ear headphones. The method includes receiving measurement data from a pressure-measuring device of the headphones; ascertaining a pressure difference between the first pressure and the second pressure based on the measurement data of the pressure-measuring device; recognizing that the headphones are inserted into the hearing region of the user if it has been ascertained that the first pressure is higher than the second pressure; and/or recognizing that the headphones are removed from the hearing region if it has been ascertained that the first pressure is lower than the second pressure. Headphones are also described.

  • Patent number: 12114130
Abstract: This invention relates to a microelectromechanical loudspeaker implemented as a system-on-chip or system-in-package. The microelectromechanical loudspeaker includes a microelectromechanical sound-generating device implemented in a microelectromechanical system (MEMS) and a microphone mounted on the cover or integrated in the cover, wherein the microphone is positioned adjacent to one of the sound outlet openings of the cover. The MEMS comprises a cavity formed between a planar cover, a planar base and circumferential sidewalls provided between the cover and the base. The MEMS further comprises a plurality of movable actuators for generating sound. The actuators are provided in the cavity between the cover and the base, and wherein the cover and the base have a plurality of sound outlet openings to emit sound in a direction transverse to the cover and the base, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20110051986
Abstract: A magnetic system for an electroacoustic transducer, including an annular magnet which provides a magnetic field for a moving coil. The magnetic system has a first magnetic element forming a base plate and at least one second magnetic element forming a cover plate. The annular magnet is arranged between the first and second magnetic element. The annular magnet is held by the magnetic forces acting between the first magnetic element and the magnet, or between the magnet and the second magnetic element.
