  • Patent number: 11220953
Abstract: A cooler fan module, having: a fan frame, a fan wheel recess formed in the fan frame, wherein the fan wheel recess is bounded by a frame ring, a motor mount, which is arranged within the fan wheel recess and is mechanically connected to the fan frame by means of struts, a motor, more particularly an electric motor, which is held at least partially in the motor mount, and a fan wheel, which is arranged in the fan wheel recess and is rotationally driven by the motor, wherein the cooler fan module further has a separately formed, annular structure element, which is arranged on the frame ring.

  • Patent number: 11078924
Abstract: The present invention relates to a frame device for a radiator fan module for a motor vehicle, including a frame opening in which a motor seat for receiving a motor is arranged. The motor seat is connected to a frame edge of the frame opening by means of connecting struts. Each connecting strut comprises an inner end connected to the motor seat and an outer end connected to the frame edge of the frame opening. The setting angle of the profile of the respective connecting struts is adapted to the outflow direction of the air flowing out through the frame opening, over the length of the connecting strut from the inner end to the outer end of the connecting strut, such that the flow resistance of the respective connecting struts is as low as possible.

  • Patent number: 10107301
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor hub assembly for an electric fan, in particular for a radiator fan of a motor vehicle, comprising a hub cup, which rotates during operation and which has air outlet guides on the inside of the hub cup, which air outlet guides are arranged and shaped in such a way that the air outlet guides guide and accelerate cooling air, wherein a magnetic return cup is arranged inside the hub cup, which return cup has air passage openings, which, together with the air outlet guides, form continuous air outlets for a cooling air flow from the pressure side to the vacuum side of the fan. The invention further relates to an electric fan having such a rotor assembly.
