Abstract: The invention relates to an air treatment system (1) for a vehicle, especially a motor vehicle, which comprises a channel system (2) for guiding a current of air (17), comprising an inlet opening (6) for fresh air that communicates with the surroundings (7) of the vehicle, and a plurality of outlet openings (10) that communicate with the vehicle interior (9). The system further comprises a ventilator (3) for generating the current of air (17) in the channel system (2), a heating device (5) for heating up the current of air (17) and a cooling device (4) for cooling the current of air, and an oxidation device (41) that is electrically operated and decomposes odors and/or pollutants contained in the current of air (17).
