An upper stowage compartment is arranged on the lower side of the lid module for accommodating a telephone device or other items and is covered by a first lid forming part of an armrest. A further upper stowage space is covered by a second lid which is designed as a further part of the armrest and can be pivoted about a pivot axis. The further upper stowage space is designed as part of the upper stowage compartment and together with the second lid is assigned to the lid module in such a manner that they can be pivoted together with the lid module.

    Abstract: A closure device for a closure flap, has an actuating element which is remote from the closure flap. A connecting rod is articulated pivotably on the closure flap and the actuating element to transmit tensile and compressive forces. The connecting rod is assigned to a position element, which is stationary with respect to the mounting of the closure flap, and is provided, at least in the region of the position element, with at least one spring element which acts transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of said connecting rod. This spring element allows the connecting rod to be moved, by way of contact with the position element, into defined longitudinal positions with associated positions of the closure flap and actuating element. The connecting rod is preferably a spring wire incorporating a shaped spring element.

    Abstract: A holding arrangement for the operating element of a telephone or a mobile telephone, such as a telephone receiver with a dialing keyboard or a handset, for an installation in a container existing in a vehicle is disclosed. A receiving device for releasably fixing the operating element and a holding body carrying the receiving device are provided. The holding body can be swivelled about a swivelling axis aligned transversely to its longitudinal course from a removed position with the operating element stored in the container into an offered position with the operating element situated to be easily gripped, and vice versa. For the purpose of a universal installation into all vehicle types in a space-saving manner, with a still remaining free useful space in the container, a fork-shaped carrier is provided for the swivel bearing of the holding body, which fork-shaped carrier accommodates the swivelling shaft in two carrying arms which project at a right angle from a carrying plate.

On its transverse edge, which extends transversely to the sliding direction of the sliding lid, the guide plate is swivellably held on the upper edge of the box and is prestressed by a spring in a swivelling direction pointing away from the box bottom. The sliding lid is, on one side, guided in the sliding direction and with play in each transverse direction thereto on the guide plate and, on the other side, is guided via a connecting link guide on the box.

    Abstract: The retractable holder for two drink containers, for example, in a dashboard of a motor vehicle, includes a slide element (16) provided with an insertion opening (38) for a first drink container. With the slide element (16) pulled out, a swiveling part (42) provided with an insertion opening (46) for a second drink container can be swiveled sideways out of the slide element (16). So that the holder can be reduced in width, the two insertion openings (38, 46) are open along one section of their circumference. When the swiveling part (42) is accommodated in the slide element (16), the open section is completed by or circumferentially closed by a swiveling arm (40) that is mounted on the swiveling part (42), which swiveling arm (40) swivels out sideways.

For making the depositing tray accessible from the rear seat of the vehicle between the backrests of the two front seats, with a low-cost manufacture and an attractive appearance of the armrest, the arm padding support is provided with a central opening. A sliding blind which covers the depositing tray is longitudinally slidably guided in the closing flap.
