  • Patent number: 11814887
Abstract: A hinge for pivotally securing a frame substantially flush to a mounting surface, the hinge comprising a plurality of leaves and a plurality of articulation points wherein each leaf is connected to two articulation points and movement of at least one leaf connected to each articulation point occurs substantially simultaneously. With four leaves and four articulation points the hinge is configured for fluid movement as the articulation points are utilized or activated concurrently to pivot the frame about the hinge and with respect to a mounting surface. A pair of hinges wherein one hinge may be a mirror image of the other can be used to mount the frame to the mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 8608523
Abstract: A lightweight watercraft device designed for use by general consumers and those without means or desire for a traditional, larger boat. The device comprises a pilot seat, an outboard electric motor and steering means mounted to a lightweight foam hull wrapped in a composite shell. The hull comprises a central region bounded by two forward sweeping sides that form the bow of the vessel. The sides taper from bow to stern, terminating at the rear of the boat in a squared configuration. The hull is a unitary foam structure, wrapped in plys of composite material for structural reinforcement. A plank board is bonded between plys along the central axis of the boat, and provides support for the seat, a rear transom board and an area for carrying supplies. Mounted on the transom board is the outboard electric motor, which provides motive power for the vessel.

  • Patent number: 7380810
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an adjustable trailer hitch that provides a suspended connection between a tow vehicle and an attached trailer. The hitch includes a support member that is adapted to be attached to a tow vehicle and a frame having first and second pivots for pivotally support a hitch plate, which is operative to connect to a trailer (e.g., engage a trailer pin). A first air spring has a first end fixedly connected to the support member and a second end fixedly connected to the frame. The air spring permits relative movement between the support member and the frame as well as transmitting towing forces therebetween. The air spring provides a pliable connection that at least partially mechanically isolates the trailer and the vehicle from each other. Instead of acting as a single unit, the vehicle and the trailer act at least partially independently of each other.
