    Abstract: A dosing device is for arrangement on the outside of a process chamber of an additive manufacturing device and for conveying process powder into the process chamber. The dosing device includes at least one powder container including at least one powder cavity which is designed to receive the process powder; and a container guide for moving the powder container in a straight line along a conveying axis of the dosing device. The powder container is movably arranged on the container guide, and the powder container is designed to be deflected beyond the container guide along the conveying axis.
