    Abstract: A conduit system is described. The conduit system primarily includes at least one cable (203), such as but not limited to a power and/or communication cable, at least one microduct (202), and a sheath (201) or binder over the cable/microduct bundle holding them in abutting engagement with one another. The conduit system can be installed by itself or into a larger conventional conduit system. Additional cables can then be easily and inexpensively introduced into the microduct as the need arises, for example, during network expansion.
