    Abstract: A retainer used for securing an electromagnetic fuel injector to the intake manifold of an engine is in the form of a one-piece grommet, molded of resilient material, which is adapted to be fixed to and to overlie an opening in the intake manifold and which is provided with a socket bore adapted to sealingly receive the discharge end portion of the electromagnetic fuel injector.
