  • Publication number: 20220163952
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing a virtual sensor in an automation system of an industrial system. A measurement value of a physical sensor, said measurement value corresponding to a physical parameter of the industrial system, is received in a processing device of the automation system. A data set which has been generated using a simulation model is provided in the processing device, wherein the data set produces a unique relationship between possible measurement values of the physical sensor and corresponding output values of the virtual sensor. The data set and the received measurement value are used to determine which output value of the virtual sensor belongs to the received measurement value (20), and said output value is then displayed on a display device of the industrial system.

  • Patent number: 9965512
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method receives a query for analyzing data in a database. The method then determines a constant in the query and determines an operator applied to the constant in the query. The operator explicitly controls a behavior of the constant. The constant is represented as a scalar representation in the query instead of as a vectorial representation where the constant would have been used as the vectorial representation without the use of the operator due to a rule governing use of constants. Then, the method performs a calculation for the query to determine a query result using the constant as the scalar representation.

  • Publication number: 20160162480
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method comprises obtaining one or more source database structures including a plurality of source fields, obtaining at least one target database structure including a plurality of target structures, obtaining information regarding user interactions during a past mapping process of source fields of the one or more source database structures to target fields of the at least one target database structure, automatically determining one or more proposed mappings between a set of source fields of the one or more source database structures and a set of target fields of the at least one target database structure, where automatically determining the one or more proposed mappings includes taking into account the obtained information regarding user interactions during a past mapping process of source fields of the one or more source database structures to target fields of the at least one target database structure.

  • Publication number: 20110119128
Abstract: An online audience is targeted for advertisement delivery in an advertising exchange system. The method is performed in an advertising exchange system and may include processing a request to delivery at least one message over a network. An audience segment may be stored for a first entity. The audience segment may identify a population of visitors to one or more network locations of the first entity that form a target-group of members based on activity of the visitors at the first entity. The system may retrieve the audience segment for a second entity and the system may deliver a message from the advertising exchange system in response to the request to the target-group of members on behalf of the second entity by using the audience segment to target the target-group of members.
