Abstract: Pliers include a first and a second plier limb which are rotatably held relative to one another about an axis of rotation in an articulation region and which form handle regions on one side of the articulation region and a jaw of the pliers on the other side, the plier limbs being designed to cut a threaded bolt in an overlap region, using first and second cavities that can be superposed in alignment. A thread is formed in each first cavity in order to cut a threaded bolt. The thread is provided over only part of the height of the first cavity and over only part of the inner circumference of the first cavity.

Abstract: Plies have a first and a second plier limb which are rotatably held relative to one another on an axis of rotation an articulation region and form a jaw region on one side of the articulation region and handle sections on the other side of the articulation region. The jaw region has a cutting pattern with first and second cutting edges which, in the closed position of the pliers, are crossed with respect to a shear plane and which have a central plane running through the axis of rotation, perpendicularly to the shear plane in the closed position. The cutting edges are crossed to a greater degree in a region remote from the articulation, in the opening direction of the pliers, than in a region closer to the articulation.

Abstract: A pair of pliers has a first and a second plier leg, which are mounted so as to be rotatable relative to one another in a joint region and which form gripping regions on one side of the joint region and a plier jaw on the other side. A locking part fixes position of the pliers. The locking part is rotatably mounted on the first plier leg at a transition between the gripping region and the joint region of the plier leg, and, in the fixed position, fixes the pliers by contact with the joint region of the second plier leg. The locking part, in the fixed position and under load, is in supporting contact both with the joint region of the second plier leg and with the gripping region of the first plier leg in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the plier legs.

Abstract: A hand tool has first and second tool legs that are connected in a pivot region and which overlap in an overlapping region both in an open state of the hand tool and in a closed state of the hand tool. The tool legs interact with a spring such that the tool legs can be pivoted, even beyond a basic open position, into an extended open position by the user in applying manual force against the force of the spring, the spring coming into action in the case of the additional pivot movement of the hand tool legs beyond the basic open position and/or in the case of a closing pivoting movement of the hand tool legs acts on different bearing surfaces of the hand tool legs.
