  • Patent number: 10618250
Abstract: A compressible liquid retaining berm having a plurality of wall members, the wall members composed of a compressible, resilient material such that the wall members will rebound to a neutral state after being compressed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 11, 2018
Date of Patent: April 14, 2020
    Assignee: ULTRATECH INTERNATIONAL, INC.
    Inventors: Cary Winters, Tim McGrath
  • Patent number: 10435856
Abstract: A compressible liquid retaining berm having a plurality of linear wall members and right angle corner members composed of a compressible, resilient material such that the wall members and corner members will rebound to a neutral state after being compressed. A longitudinal slot is disposed in the top wall of the wall members and the corner members, with the corner member longitudinal slots communicating with a recess positioned in the corner member. A liquid impermeable liner member is disposed on the interior side of the wall members and corner members, the liner member extending across the wall members and corner members. The liner member is secured to the wall members and corner members by positioning elongated anchor members atop the liner member in alignment with the longitudinal slots, such that the weight of the anchor members results in the anchor members being received within the longitudinal slots.

  • Patent number: 9944046
Abstract: A compressible liquid retaining berm having a plurality of wall members, the wall members composed of a compressible, resilient material such that the wall members will rebound to a neutral state after being compressed. A longitudinal slot is disposed in the top wall of the wall members and extends the length of the wall member, and a transverse slot is disposed in the top wall adjacent each end of the wall member, preferably perpendicular to the longitudinal slot. A liquid impermeable liner member is disposed on the interior side of the wall members, the liner member extending across the wall members. The liner member is secured to the wall members by positioning elongated anchor members atop the liner member in alignment with the longitudinal slots, such that the weight of the anchor members results in the anchor members being received within the longitudinal slots.

  • Patent number: 7640288
Abstract: A method, schema and computer system for a location service provides data structures that are extensible by allowing different types of location awareness applications to retrieve and deposit location data. The method includes providing an abstract location object arranged in a schema to enable servicing a received request for a logical location of an electronic endpoint; and arranging one or more location elements within the context of the abstract location object. The location elements are configured to act as peers relative to the logical location and each location element is configured to act as a proxy relative to any other location element within the abstract location object.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 15, 2004
Date of Patent: December 29, 2009
    Assignee: Microsoft Corporation

  • Patent number: 6353619
Abstract: A circuit is provided for use in an interconnect node in a packet-switching communication network to facilitate data packet transmission between an Ethernet port and a DSL port, which are both external to the circuit. Firmware for the interconnect node is executed on a processor internal to the circuit. The circuit receives data packets, determines the packet type, tests the packet for corruption, and after some firmware processing, forwards the packet to its destination. The circuit also provides support for other parts of the interconnect node.
