Abstract: A system comprising a physical button to initiate a session, the session designed to enable a user to be focused, the physical button communicating with a software application through a network connection, and a computer system including the software application to track how the user utilizes the computer. The button designed to provide a visual display of a count-down timer for the session, to encourage the user to maintain focus through the session. The computer system further designed to track whether the user remains productive through the session, and to generate statistics at an end of the session, the statistics usable by the user to encourage focus.

Abstract: A box to encourage a user not to use a mobile device comprising a space to receive the mobile device, a communication logic and wireless technology, selected from near field communication technology (NFC) and personal area network (PAN) technology, to establish a communication between the mobile device and the box, a blocking mechanism to block the mobile device from alerting the user, wherein a time the mobile device is in the box is logged.

Abstract: A panel member having an outer encasement where a ballistic material is positioned in a chamber region of the encasement. A closed cell rigid structural foam in one form is positioned in the chamber region and positioned adjacent to the ballistic material. With a significant ballistic threat, the ballistic material allows a projectile to pass therethrough and the closed cell rigid structural foam is configured to de-accelerate the projectile to mitigate the ballistic threat.
