  • Patent number: 8022776
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to coupled circuits and methods of coupling circuits having a power supply wherein a plurality of transistors are inductively coupled directly to the power supply for providing a single DC supply voltage directly to each of the plurality of transistors, and wherein a plurality of transformers have primary and secondary windings, the primary and secondary windings providing, at least in part, inductive loads for inductively coupling the plurality of transistors to the power supply, the plurality of transformers also providing an AC signal path for coupling neighboring ones of the plurality of transistors together.

  • Publication number: 20080092401
Abstract: A universal blind marking apparatus is disclosed where the system includes components that are universally usable to identify where a wall should be cut or a hole should be drilled. The system includes a plurality of adhesive backed pads that are placed in the corners or along curved surfaces. When the surface to be marked is brought into contact with the pads. Some marking material is transferred through the pad identifying where to cut or drill on the surface. The apparatus also works for the marking of vent holes and the routing of electrical wires. In another embodiment the pads are fabricated with sides having different adhesive properties where the low adhesive side is adhered to an object and when the object is brought in contact with a surface the high adhesive side transfers the pad to the surface.

  • Publication number: 20080076529
Abstract: A wagering monitoring system configured to detect player wagers at a roulette table is disclosed. A table having antennas associated with the various wagering areas is provided for player. A reader connects to the antenna to thereby communicate via the antenna with token equipped with identification element. By monitoring wagers, game play is monitored and processing may occur to track each player wager and the amount wagered by a player. To facilitate play at a roulette table, the identification element associated with the token includes a token color identification code which identifies the color of the token. The token color identification code is associated with a player which in turn provides means to associated each wager and a total amount wagered with a player.

  • Patent number: 7344524
Abstract: A disposable absorbent article is disclosed having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. The absorbent article has first, second and third pairs of leg elastics secured between an outer cover and an inner liner. The first, second and third leg elastics are arranged around each of the pair of leg openings with each of the third pair of leg elastics being positioned intermediate one of each of the first and second pairs of leg elastics. Each of the third pair of leg elastics is also separated from one of the first pair of leg elastics by a first gap and from one of the second pair of leg elastics by a second gap.

  • Publication number: 20070243021
Abstract: An emergency flood control apparatus is described that includes a row of a plurality of vertically separated cells horizontally arranged formed between at least two continuous sheets of impermeable flexible material, a continuous horizontal tube formed between the sheets and disposed at an end of the cells, and a plurality of necks disposed perpendicularly between the tube and the cells, the necks connecting each of the cells to the horizontal tube in a manner such that the cells may be filled with fluid from the tube at substantially the same time.

  • Patent number: 5517039
Abstract: LEDs and other semiconductor devices fabricated with III-V materials and having exposed Al-bearing surfaces passivated with native oxides are disclosed. A known high temperature water vapor oxidation process is used to passivate the exposed layers of Al-bearing III-V semiconductor materials in confined-emission spot LEDs and other light emitting devices. These devices exhibit greatly improved wet, high temperature operating life, with little to no degradation in light output when exposed to such conditions.
