  • Publication number: 20180311512
Abstract: A patient monitoring system comprises a threshold determining unit configured to determine a cut-off threshold value based on a signal representing a reflection response of a skin of a patient and a signal representing a reflection response of a patient covering object. The patient monitoring system also comprises a signal processing unit configured to process a reflection signal, representing a detected wave reflected from at least a portion of the patient, based on the cut-off threshold value to cut off a portion of the reflection signal corresponding to detected wave reflected from the patient covering object to get a processed reflection signal corresponding to detected wave reflected from the surface of the patient.

  • Patent number: 8130384
Abstract: The invention is related to an apparatus for the representation of a geometrical figure on the surface of a patient's body that is situated on a support, comprising at least one projection device, by which a given geometrical figure can be projected onto the three-dimensional surface of the patient's body, at least one control device and at least one optical sensor device, by which the geometrical figure projected onto the surface of the patient's body can be acquired and the acquired data can be supplied to the control device, wherein the control device is realized to determine the three-dimensional coordinates of the geometrical figure projected onto the patient's body from the data acquired by the sensor device, and wherein the control device is realized to compare the determined three-dimensional coordinates of the geometrical figure projected onto the patient's body with desired three-dimensional coordinates.

  • Publication number: 20090292200
Abstract: The present invention is related to an apparatus for marking an irradiation field on the surface of the patient's body, which was produced by means of a virtual 3D model of a patient's body, with a laser system for determining the coordinates of at least two reference points on the surface of the patient's body in a local coordinate system assigned to the apparatus, with an analysing and control unit which is realised to determine a transformation matrix for the transformation of arbitrary coordinates from the virtual coordinate system into the local coordinate system from the coordinates of the reference points in the local coordinate system and from coordinates of the reference points in a virtual coordinate system of the virtual 3D model of the patient's body, and wherein the analysing and control unit is further realised to transform coordinates from the virtual coordinate system into the local coordinate system with the transformation matrix, and to provide the transformed coordinates to the laser system
