Abstract: A customer interface device for interfacing with a customer at a store may include a touch screen for displaying information and receiving customer instructions, a keypad, a wireless sensor for scanning tags attached to merchandise of the store, and at least one user input component to accept customer payment for items to be purchased, wherein the touch screen, the keypad, the wireless sensor and the at least one user input component are detachable modular components.

Abstract: An RFID Point-of-Sale system for completing a sale transaction to a customer of a plurality of items associated with a plurality of unique RFID tags at a store includes an arrangement of a plurality of RFID tag scanners for detecting the plurality of unique RFID tags associated with the plurality of items, and a checkout platform including a transaction panel, wherein a list of the plurality of items is displayed on the transaction panel based on a matching of the detected plurality of unique RFID tags with information stored in an inventory database.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a customer with enhanced shopping experience at a retail store provide associating the customer with a unique identification, storing information of the customer in a central database, wherein the information of the customer is retrievable according to the unique identification of the customer, responsive to a request by the customer, linking the customer to the information of the customer stored in the central database based on the unique identification of the customer, and based on an analysis of the information of the customer, providing the stored information of the customer to the customer to allow the customer to conduct a number of tasks including checking status of a transaction with the retail store, selecting a payment option for a transaction and receiving notification from the retail store about pending transactions.

Abstract: A holecutter for creating holes in a golf course by both cutting a hole in the ground and removing the cut material comprises a receptacle, a cutting edge disposed at an aperture of the receptacle, an impact structure connected to the receptacle and arranged to deliver an impact to the receptacle to drive it into the ground and an ejecting structure disposed to eject the cut material from the receptacle. The ejecting structure of the holecutter is movable between an initial position and an ejected position by a geared drive acting between a guide and the impact structure. The impact structure comprises a grippable shaft that is slidably mounted on the guide which extends away from an end of the receptacle opposed to the aperture.

Abstract: A non-toxic primer mix including both bismuth sulfide and potassium nitrate as the pyrotechnic portion of the primer is disclosed. In a further embodiment, a non-toxic primer mix comprising zinc sulfide and aluminum nitrate as the pyrotechnic portion of the primer mix is disposed. Bismuth and zinc sulfide act as fuels for the oxidizers of potassium and aluminum nitrate in providing an ignition flame for the primer. The non-toxic primer mix further contains a lead-free explosive material, and additionally can include added fuels, sensitizers, explosives and binders.

Abstract: A process of hydroxylation of polybutadiene using hydroxy terminated polybutadiene and reacting it with tetraethyl ammonium chloride, potassium dichromate and pyridine. The polymer product is subsequently washed with hydrochloric acid and water to produce a polybutadiene with both terminal and internal hydroxylation.
