  • Publication number: 20250303635
Abstract: The proposed solution relates to a 3D printing device for additive manufacturing, including a plurality of print heads arranged one beside the other along a transverse axis, via which one component each can be additively manufactured. The proposed 3D printing device includes at least two rows each with a plurality of print heads arranged one beside the other along a transverse axis, which are arranged one behind the other along a longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 12186975
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for extrusion of fiber-reinforced plastic material for the additive manufacture of a component is disclosed. The fiber-reinforced plastic material is supplied to the extrusion apparatus and heated in a heating zone of the extrusion apparatus in order to then supply the fiber-reinforced plastic material to an extrusion nozzle of the extrusion apparatus, at which a material thread comprising fiber-reinforced plastic material is extruded for the component to be manufactured. In order to convey the fiber-reinforced plastic material through the heating zone, a screw conveyor of the extrusion apparatus is utilized, which has a length-diameter ratio of less than a set value. In the heating zone a maximum volume is provided for the fiber-reinforced plastic material and a rotational speed of the screw conveyor is limited to a maximum of speed.

  • Publication number: 20240246277
Abstract: It is provided a charging system for feeding processing material, in particular granular processing material to at least one extruder screw, comprising a hopper that is adapted to guide the processing material along a feed direction to the extruder screw and extends along a hopper axis, which in the properly mounted state of the charging system extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the extruder screw. In the proposed charging system, the hopper includes a plurality of recesses each extending axially with respect to the hopper axis on a hopper wall extending around the hopper axis.

  • Publication number: 20220143914
Abstract: A charging system for feeding processing material to at least one extruder screw including a hopper configured to conduct the processing material along a feed direction to the extruder screw, and a material reservoir for the gravity-driven feeding of the processing material to the hopper. The charging system also includes a feeding device via which processing material recirculated at the hopper against the feed direction by action of the extruder screw can again be conveyed in the direction of the extruder screw together with processing material fed from the material reservoir.
