    Abstract: A gel-forming corrosion inhibiting composition may be employed to protect a metal article from corrosion. The gel-forming corrosion inhibitor composition is combined with water and delivered to an enclosed space at least partially defined by the metal article. Subsequent to delivery, the combination forms a gel to sustainably fill the enclosed space, thereby protecting the metal article from corrosion.
