  • Patent number: 8196738
Abstract: A lagging for a belt conveyor pulley comprises a continuous and homogeneous rubber volume and a number of small plate-like ceramic lagging elements. The ceramic elements may be of rectangular, square, oval or circular shape in various patterns with and without grooving. The lagging is hot vulcanization bonded to the periphery of a pulley in a manner without seams or other paths for liquid or debris ingress to pulley rubber bond.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 6, 2011
Date of Patent: June 12, 2012
    Assignee: Precision, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20070248292
Abstract: The snack bag includes an opening edge having a first resilient member and another opening edge having a second resilient member. Opposite to the opening edges is a portion of the snack bag which functions as a base for placement on a surface. The first and second resilient members retain the snack bag in an open configuration where the snack bag functions as a container in a manner similar to a bowl. The opening edges may be re-sealable. In alternative embodiments the base may be formed of expansion ridges which may extend outwardly for positioning on a surface to maintain the opened snack bag in a substantially upright orientation for positioning of the opening edges vertically to provide convenient access to the contents of the snack bag.

  • Publication number: 20050277106
Abstract: The present invention comprises a method of protecting organs or tissue susceptible to reperfusion-induced dysfunction after ischemia. The method comprises parenterally administering to a patient a therapeutical composition containing natural alpha-1 acid glycoprotein, natural alpha-1 antitrypsin or a mixture thereof. Alternatively, organ or tissue transplants can be contacted with natural alpha-1 acid glycoprotein, natural alpha-1 antitrypsin or mixtures by perfusing or flushing them with a solution containing natural alpha-1 acid glycoprotein, natural alpha-1 antitrypsin or mixtures thereof in a concentration of 0.1 to 5 g/l.

  • Patent number: 6659228
Abstract: A greasing system for conveyor belt rollers uses a depression formed in a shaft about which the roller rotates to permit grease to flow from a front side to a backside of a roller bearing. In this way grease can be applied to the bearing while the conveyor is operating. The grease then flows from the backside of the bearing, through the bearing and out an outlet on the front side of the bearing making it easy to determine when the bearing has been fully greased.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 8, 2001
Date of Patent: December 9, 2003
Assignee: Precision Pulley & Idler Co.
