Abstract: A closure for an open mouth of a container is provided. The closure includes a rim and a lid frame configured to mate with the rim. The rim includes an opening and is adapted to be coupled to a top edge of the open mouth of the container. The closure further includes a connector having a cover portion coupled to the lid frame in order to form a lid and a hinge portion coupled to the rim. The lid frame is made of a first material and the connector is made of a second material. The connector is provided to support the lid for pivotable movement relative to the rim between a closed position wherein the lid closes the opening formed in the rim and an opened position wherein the lid lies away from the rim.

Abstract: Pourable products such as pool chemicals are packaged in a rectilinear stackable receptacle assembly. The receptacle assembly includes an upper cover or lid which includes a stacking recess into which a second receptacle assembly can nest. The receptacle assembly also includes a lower bucket portion which includes a continuous sidewall forming a rectilinear shape. The cover and the bucket side wall include interlocking members thereon which securely attach the cover to the bucket when the cover is pressed down against the bucket. The cover may include a pivotable bail handle, and also includes opposed side handles. The receptacle may include wheels partially located inwardly from one of the walls and upwardly from the bottom of the bucket.

Abstract: A modular stackable receptacle for pool chemicals or the like includes an upper cover and a lower container portion. The cover includes a continuous rectilinear sidewall having a latch ring on an inner surface thereof. An upper surface of the cover includes a product dispensing pour spout which receives a removable closure cap. The upper surface of the cover also includes a raised crown portion which is coplanar with the closure cap. Both the closure cap and the crown portion have stacking and aligning projections which cooperate with respective recesses formed in the bottom wall of the container portion, which recesses facilitate stable stacking of the receptacles, one atop another. The container portion has a continuous sidewall which includes an upper outwardly projecting rim and an outwardly projecting catch ring that is adapted to interlock with the latch ring on the cover, whereby the cover cannot be readily removed from the container.

Abstract: A container includes a lid for covering the open mouth of a container. The container includes a rim around the open mouth and a pair of helical lid guides apended to the rim. The lid is rotatable to engage the helical lid guides and retain the lid in place on the container. The lid includes a first guide follower that is arranged to move around the rim during rotation of the lid relative to the container and engage one of the lid guides to hold the lid on the container.
