Patent number: 11250343Abstract: The disclosure generally describes methods, software, and systems, including a method for machine learning anomaly detection for a set of assets. Assets are analyzed using anomaly-detection analysis and a set of anomaly-detection rules. Each asset is associated with correlated records comprising characteristics of the particular asset and characteristic of non-asset-specific signals. Each anomaly-detection rule is associated with conditions determined to be indicative of a potential anomaly. At least a subset of the assets are provided for presentation in a user interface. Each asset is identified as being in a potential anomalous or non-anomalous state based on the anomaly-detection analysis. Input is received from a user identifying at least one asset as anomalous as a non-anomalous asset. Based on the received input, at least one anomaly-detection rule is modified that was applied to identify the asset as anomalous. The modified rule is stored for future analyses.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2017Date of Patent: February 15, 2022Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Ramprasad Rai, Timo Hoyer, Dirk Wodtke, Ramshankar Venkatasubramanian

Patent number: 10929421Abstract: The disclosure generally describes methods, software, and systems, including a method for providing a suggested view of asset information for presentation. A set of correlated records is identified for a plurality of assets. The set of correlated records includes a correlated set of at least one characteristic of a particular asset and a characteristic of the non-asset-specific signals. The set of correlated records is analyzed to identify a set of anomaly-detection rules. In a presentation of at least a subset of the assets, an indication of assets associated with a potential anomaly identified. A suggested view is identified based on the potential anomaly and at least one characteristic/signal associated with the determination that the potential anomaly exists. The suggested view is provided for presentation in a user interface.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2017Date of Patent: February 23, 2021Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Ramprasad Rai, Timo Hoyer, Shridhar Nayak, Dirk Wodtke, Ramshankar Venkatasubramanian, Riccardo Spina

Publication number: 20200050333Abstract: A graphical user interface is rendered that includes a plurality of cards and a launch pad. Each of the cards includes at least one graphical user interface element each with a corresponding information element. Thereafter, first user-generated input is received via the graphical user interface selecting one of the graphical user interface elements. In addition, second user-generated input is received via the graphical user interface selecting the launch pad. In some variations, the first user-generated input and the second user-generated input form a combined gesture. Subsequently, a new card is displayed in the launch pad in the graphical user interface. The new card includes additional information for the information element corresponding to the selected graphical user interface element.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2018Publication date: February 13, 2020Inventors: Timo Hoyer, Riccardo Spina, Dirk Wodtke

Patent number: 9383913Abstract: A data filtering menu enabling a user to select different characteristics and values may be displayed. Each of the characteristics may be displayed in a first selectable list in the filtering menu. Once a user selects one of the characteristics, a second list containing selectable values associated with the selected characteristic may be displayed in a second list. The selected values may filter a set of data and the list of characteristics may be modified to display a representation of values selected from one or more of the second lists. Additionally, a selectable object associated with a characteristic having user selected values may also be displayed with a filtered result. If this object is selected, a list of values from the second list may be redisplayed. The user may then select different values and re-executed the filter with the new values.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2012Date of Patent: July 5, 2016Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Timo Hoyer, Sascha Hans Grub

Patent number: 9268476Abstract: A software application assists users of a computing device to manipulate a data object displayed on a user interface. The software application may be implemented as a method that may comprise receiving a touch-and-hold operation directed to the data object, and responsive to the touch-and-hold operation, determining whether a time period since beginning of the touch-and-hold operation reaches a predetermined threshold value, when the time period reaches the predetermined threshold value, creating an image of the data object and hovering the image of the data object on top of the data object to indicate it is draggable, and responsive to the image of the data object being dragged into a droppable display area on the user interface, swapping the image of the data object with a user guidance indicating what the image of the data object will look like if released in the droppable display area.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2012Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: SAP SEInventor: Timo Hoyer

Publication number: 20140164238Abstract: Example systems and methods of concurrent servicing of multiple processing requests are presented. In one example, a plurality of first graphical objects representing processing requests are displayed in a first area of a display. Each of the first graphical objects presents information concerning its corresponding processing request. In response to selection of more than one of the first graphical objects, a plurality of second graphical objects corresponding to the selected first graphical objects are displayed in a second area of the display. Each of the second graphical objects presents second information having a greater level of detail than that of the first information of the corresponding first graphical object. A user-selectable region associated with the second graphical objects is also displayed. In response to a user selection of the user-selectable region, the processing requests associated with the second graphical objects are serviced.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2012Publication date: June 12, 2014Applicant: SAP AGInventor: Timo Hoyer
