  • Publication number: 20070256762
Abstract: A process for producing a shaped part of a pre-form of hardenable and heat formable steel sheet, by means of heat treatment with cold deforming tools, in which by the heat forming a hardened component is produced, which exhibits a martensitic and/or banitic microstructure, wherein the hardened component is tempered subsequent to heat forming so that a shaped part is formed which exhibits, at least in areas, a higher yield strength and a pronounced break limit compared to the hardened component.

  • Publication number: 20060011704
Abstract: The process is used to produce a deformed, locally reinforced sheet-metal component (10), in which a metal reinforcing sheet (14) is secured to a metal base sheet (12) by means of a brazed join (16) before or during the deformation process, characterized in that a nickel-based brazing material is used to produce the brazed join (16).
