    Abstract: A collapsible canopy system that is attachable to a medical transport cot. The collapsible canopy system includes a canopy assembly that is storable in a collapsed configuration and extendable when desired to partially or fully cover the head rest portion of the medical transport cot to partially or fully shield the face area of a patient being transported on the medical transport cot. The canopy assembly is adjustable in size to accommodate different sized patients. The canopy assembly also has a rapidly replaceable canopy member.
