    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for recognizing speech using a spiking neural network acoustic model implemented on a neuromorphic processor are described. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, a trained acoustic model implemented as a spiking neural network (SNN) on a neuromorphic processor of a client device, a set of feature coefficients that represent acoustic energy of input audio received from a microphone communicably coupled to the client device. The acoustic model is trained to predict speech sounds based on input feature coefficients. The acoustic model generates output data indicating predicted speech sounds corresponding to the set of feature coefficients that represent the input audio received from the microphone. The neuromorphic processor updates one or more parameters of the acoustic model using one or more learning rules and the predicted speech sounds of the output data.

    Abstract: This invention relates generally to a unitized heavy duty axle suspension and steering system for self powered chassis. The steerable suspension system embodied in this invention takes advantage of the unique location and connection of the steering gear to the Pitman arm and its location and connection by the primary drag link to the bell crank assembly below and in-between the frame rails and above the axle. The primary drag link is the same length as the suspension arms and is located in a parallel plane to them when the vehicle is moving forward in a straight line. This unique arrangement virtually eliminates the phenomenon known as bump steer and allows the wheels to turn at a high degree of steer, dramatically increasing maneuverability for long wheel base chassis. The assembly with all of the steering controls and components between the rails and above the axle allow for unitized assembly and very straightforward installation.

    Abstract: A lift axle assembly for supporting an auxiliary axle and wheels and selectively moving the auxiliary axle between in use and storage positions. The auxiliary axle is supported using two sets of upper and lower support arms pivotally connected between saddles attached to the axle and support hangers which are attached to the vehicle. Lift air springs selectively push the upper support arms vertically upwardly for rotating the support arms and placing the auxiliary axle in the storage position. The pivotal connections of the lower support arm as well as the pivotal connection of the upper support arm to the support hanger are of a bushing type allowing both rotational motion about the axis of rotation and coning for allowing twisting of the support arms about their longitudinal axes.
