Publication number: 20240141776Abstract: Systems and methods for using stratigraphic heat maps to steer a well being drilled. Data from one or more offset wells can be provided to a computer system and used with data from a well being drilled to generate one or more stratigraphic heat maps during the drilling of the subject well. The stratigraphic heat maps can be displayed and used to determine the location of the wellbore relative to one or more geological formations, including one or more target formations or within a target formation. Based on the use of the heat maps and the location of the wellbore relative to a target, the drill plan can be adjusted or updated and/or one or more drilling parameters or operations may be adjusted to drill the wellbore, such as to drill the wellbore to the target or to maximize the length of the wellbore within a target zone.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2024Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Timothy William Gee, Stefan Maus, Kenneth Robert McCarthy, Alexander Michael Mitkus, Jin Sun

Patent number: 11959506Abstract: A spindle nut retainer is used with a spindle with a flat portion on its threaded end. The flat portion interrupts the threads on the threaded end. A washer with a mating flat portion is slidably mounted over the threaded end and a nut is removably threaded to the threaded end of the spindle against the washer to set the preload on bearings. The nut retainer overlays a plurality of the corners of the nut and engages the threaded portion of the spindle with tangs. A majority of the tangs are flexed or bent to remain in biased contact with the threads on the spindle. Some of the tangs are located over the flat portion and remain unbent. The tangs resist rotation of the nut by engagement with the flat portion where it meets the threads.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Dexter Axle Company LLCInventors: Timothy Allen Meckstroth, Ernest Martin, John Robert Jurek

Patent number: 11960470Abstract: A digital security system can store data associated with entities in resolver trees. If the digital security system determines that two resolver trees are likely representing the same entity, the digital security system can use a merge operation to merge the resolver trees into a single resolver tree that represents the entity. The single resolver tree can include a merge node indicating a merge identifier of the merge operation. Nodes containing information merged into the resolver tree from another resolver tree during the merge operation can be tagged with the corresponding merge identifier. Accordingly, if the merge operation is to be undone, for instance if subsequent information indicates that the entries are likely separate entities, the resolver tree can be unmerged and the nodes tagged with the merge identifier can be restored to a separate resolver tree.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2022Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: CROWDSTRIKE, INC.Inventors: James Robert Plush, Timothy Jason Berger, Ramnath Venugopalan
