  • Publication number: 20250104498
Abstract: Remote access to secured containers is provided by a user interface apparatus having an associated receptacle for receiving physical items delivered from and to the remote secured container. Delivery of the physical items to and from the user interface device's receptacle and the secure container may be accomplished by a robotic mechanism or the like. The user of the remote secured container access system pre-registers, such that presentation of the user credentials at the user interface apparatus provides the user options for receiving items for the secured container and delivering items. Moreover, the user credentials are associated with a secure container identifier and access credentials for gaining access to the secured area and/or the secured container, such that presentation of the user credentials provides identification of the secure container and access to the secured area and/or the secured container.

  • Publication number: 20250091731
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for testing a fuel tank for an aircraft. Electrical power is sent to an optical data concentrator for the fuel tank for the aircraft from a power supply such that the optical data concentrator sends optical signals to optical sensors inside the fuel tank through optical fibers connecting the optical data concentrator to the optical sensors. The electrical power is sent during a phase of manufacturing of the aircraft. Test data is received from the optical data concentrator by a computer system. The test data is based on optical response signals received from the optical sensors. A determination of states for the optical sensors is made by the computer system using the test data. A graphical indication of the states determined for the optical sensors inside the fuel tank is displayed by the computer system in a graphical user interface on a display system.

  • Publication number: 20250086294
Abstract: A computing platform may generate a graphical user interface. The computing platform may embed, into the graphical user interface, steganography, which may include information corresponding to the graphical user interface that is not displayed on the graphical user interface. The computing platform may receive, from a user device of a user, an interface access request and user access credentials. The computing platform may identify, based on the user access credentials, access permissions of the user, which may define portions of the steganography to which the user has access. The computing platform may record, in a change log, interactions of the user with the graphical user interface. The computing platform may compare the interactions in the change log with the access permissions to identify whether or not unauthorized access is detected. Based on detecting the unauthorized access, the computing platform may initiate security actions for the graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20250073715
Abstract: A method includes flowing a first fluid through a first channel of a microfluidic apparatus and flowing a second fluid through a second channel of the microfluidic apparatus. The first fluid comprises biological material and a matrix material and is immiscible with the second fluid. The first and second fluids are combined at a junction to form droplets of the first fluid dispersed in the second fluid in a third channel. Multiple exposures of a droplet in the third channel are captured in a single image, comprising: illuminating a region of the third channel with multiple successive illumination pulses during a single frame of the imaging device; identifying the droplet and determining a velocity or a size of the droplet based on an analysis of the captured exposures; and controlling the flow of the first fluid or second fluid to obtain droplets of a target size or velocity.

  • Publication number: 20250060292
Abstract: Methods for preparing imaging samples by applying a liquid or semiliquid substance to a substrate surface in order to mitigate the deleterious effects of vacuum and other conditions used for sample preparation, thereby preserving the structure of at least a portion of deposited samples. These methods are useful for MS-based electron microscopy (EM) sample preparation at room temperature, but are also applicable to other imaging methods. These methods also enable transmission electron microscopy (TEM) structural confirmation of ions passing through a mass spectrometer. Additionally, only entry-level negative staining techniques for TEM are required, making this technique much more widely available than cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM).

  • Patent number: 12227964
Abstract: A method of designing a modular cooling tower cell which may utilize mechanicals from a preexisting cell and assembling the modular cell within a cooling field in-situ using a series of custom modules. After collecting a data set from a preexisting cooling tower cell and removing the preexisting tower, a build specification is generated, including calculating a cut list for vertical and horizontal members which will form the basis of the plurality of modules forming the cell. The members are fabricated and include a plurality of connection points which allow for sizing adjustments without affecting the connection points. The modules are then constructed using the data set from the preexisting tower to form a plurality of modules comprising a cell matrix based on the data set from the preexisting cooling tower cell.
