  • Publication number: 20160334085
Abstract: Support structure configured to engage both a lamp and adjacent structure, after the lamp has been installed horizontally in a socket, and maintains the lamp in horizontal alignment with regard to the socket. The lamp is installed in the socket, at least one adjustable length pin of the support structure is adjusted to a desired length, and the support structure is engaged with the lamp. If the lamp was installed in a ceiling, a lens or cover is also installed. Regardless, the support structure engages an adjacent surface (such as the ceiling lens or cover, or a surface in the recess of a wall), thereby maintaining the lamp in horizontal alignment with regard to the socket.

  • Patent number: 8789839
Abstract: The removable fender for a road grader attaches to the road grader, and is located just ahead of a forward rear tire of said road grader. The road grader fender is positioned at an angle in order to divert debris that is flown up and forwardly from the rear tires during use. The road grader fender is designed to protect the glass and mirrors of the cab from damage associated with flying debris. The road grader fender includes a fender that is affixed to a fender bar, which can be installed and removed with respect to a mounting plate. The mounting plate is affixed to a surface of the road grader just ahead of a forward rear tire of said road grader. The mounting plate includes a gusseted mounting bracket into which the fender bar is inserted and secured in place via a clevis pin.

  • Publication number: 20140098568
Abstract: An LED retrofit lamp which has one end which is configured to engage a standard light bulb socket, such as an E26 or E39 socket. The other end provides a plurality of LED's—a center section of LED's pointing downward, and a plurality of LED's going around a perimeter of the center section, generally pointing outward. Preferably, the LED retrofit lamp 10 includes circuitry which is configured to take the voltage received from the light bulb socket, and use that voltage to drive the LED's as well as, preferably, a fan which tends to keep the LED retrofit lamp within prescribed temperature tolerances. Preferably, a protective shield, such as a plastic protective shield, covers and protects the LED's. Furthermore, preferably the LED retrofit lamp includes louvers which allow the fan inside to grab air from the outside, and allows the hot air to escape. Preferably, the LED retrofit lamp is generally lightweight.

  • Patent number: 8323208
Abstract: A method, system, and products that allow for accurate localization, virtual depiction, and testing of nerve(s) or neural structures that course through or around a proposed surgical site are described. The method and system employs a variety of types of neurodiagnostic tests that incorporate sensory, motor, and mixed nerve conduction studies in an orthodromic and antidromic fashion as well as utilizing triggered electromyography. This method, system, and products allow for a much more specific and sensitive method to assess the baseline function and continued integrity of nerves and neural structures prior to, during, and after a surgical procedure.

  • Patent number: 8202143
Abstract: A poultry paw cutting apparatus can include a conveyor that conveys a plurality of shackles. Each of the shackles can be adapted to hold a poultry paw. A chain can receive the poultry paws from the shackles at a first location and can convey the poultry paws substantially in unison with the shackles to a second location. The poultry paws can be released from the shackles at the second location. A paw cutting station can be positioned along the chain. A first guide member can be located along the chain substantially between the second location and the paw cutting station. The first guide member can be adapted to press the poultry paws against the chain. A method of cutting a poultry paw is also disclosed.
