Patent number: 12367487Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for efficient creation of blocks on a blockchain by utilization of trusted cloud primitives. As opposed to inefficient mechanisms like proof-of-work or application-limited mechanisms like proof-of-stake, embodiments of the present disclosure implement a consensus algorithm by execution of verifiably immutable code on one or more hosted computing environments that are mutually trusted by participants to the blockchain. The code can be designated within a block of the blockchain, such that participants mutually trust the code, when executed, to properly implement the agreed-upon consensus algorithm. The consensus algorithm can operate to select transactions for inclusion in each block, and notify participants of the selection, removing a need for participants to trust one another with respect to block creation.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2022Date of Patent: July 22, 2025Assignee: Vendia, Inc.Inventor: Timothy Allen Wagner

Patent number: 12322034Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for a dynamic, reconfigurable virtual reality environment with in-environment access to external data and resources. Implementations of these systems also provide an external mechanism for modifying other aspects of the virtual reality experience with no need to recode or compile the experience. This can alter the primary flow of the experience, change its behavior based on the specific user accessing it and add branded or customer-specific aspects to the application. The same level or environment can provide drastically different experiences for various users from beginners through experts, even allowing the option of random or ordered events, controllable by an instructor or administrator, through simple configuration.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2023Date of Patent: June 3, 2025Assignee: Oberon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Scott Allen, Timothy Allen

Publication number: 20250161052Abstract: Multiple anchors are transluminally slid distally over and along a first portion of a tether to a heart of a subject. The anchors are anchored to tissue of the heart, with the first portion of the tether extending transluminally to the heart. Within the heart, a bight of the tether is secured to the tissue by the anchors. A second portion of the tether extends from the bight to a second end of the tether. The first portion of the tether is subsequently slidably coupled to the second end of the tether such that the tether forms a closed loop. The tissue is subsequently reshaped by the loop being reduced in size by the first portion being slid through the slidable coupling. Other embodiments are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2023Publication date: May 22, 2025Inventors: Lauren Anne Spiegel, Hao Shang, Sam Shafigh, Steven Eric Decker, Timothy Allen Dalton

Publication number: 20250078334Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein for part detection and augmented reality integration. A computing device displays in a user interface an image including a part. The computing device detects the part in the image and generates a parameter set based on the detection of the part in the image. In the user interface, the computing device displays an augmented reality depiction of the part overlaying the image based on the parameter set. In some implementations, to detect the part in the image, the computing device uses a neural network which is trained based on multiple images of the part in varying orientations. In some implementations, a second neural network is trained to generate a parameter set relating to the position and orientation based on the detection of the part based on parameter set data corresponding to the multiple training images.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Ryan Michael Farris, Clyde Michael Stanfield, Reuben Merrell Sorensen, Timothy Allen Handy

Patent number: 12230677Abstract: A microelectronic device that is radiation hardened through the incorporation of a quantum structure getter (QSG) is provided. The device, such as a field effect transistor (FET) includes a conductive channel and a material stack comprising: a capping layer, one or more barrier layers comprising a high band gap, one or more quantum structures comprising a small band gap, and a substrate. The quantum structures are positioned in close proximity to the conductive channel to form a quantum well charge getter. The getter forms a low energy area beneath the FET, which traps and confines electron-hole pair wave functions produced from ionizing radiation, causing the wave functions overlap, recombine, and produce light emission. The quantum structures getter the wave functions, which reduces the ionized photocurrent that reaches the conducting channel, thereby hardening the microelectronic device against ionizing radiation.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2021Date of Patent: February 18, 2025Assignee: The United States of America, as Represented by the Secretary of the NavyInventors: Timothy Allen Morgan, Matthew J Gadlage, Kevin Goodman, Morgan E Ware, Pijush Kanti Ghosh
