Abstract: The toothbrush timer is a timing device that is configured for use with a toothbrush. The toothbrush is further defined with a bristle end and a grip end. The toothbrush timer removably attaches to the grip end of the toothbrush. The timing device is a countdown timer that times the duration of brushing activities. The toothbrush timer comprises a toothbrush, a sheath, and a timing circuit. The timing circuit is contained within the sheath. The sheath attaches to the toothbrush. To use the toothbrush timer, the timing circuit is initiated and the toothbrush is used normally until the timing circuit has completed its countown.

Abstract: In an embodiment, search parameters in a series of search queries directed to a target node of a semi-structured database are categorized as frequently recurring parameters. A partial search query template is populated with shortcut information related to the search parameters, and then used to facilitate execution of a new search query that includes the same search parameters. In another embodiment, an index is generated that links search parameters that return intermediate search result values to search result values that are configured to be obtained when a search is conducted on the intermediate search result values. The index can be generated based upon monitoring of actual searches within the semi-structured database, or alternatively based upon an inspection of the semi-structured database itself.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a server detects a threshold number of search queries for which the same value at a target node for a document in a semi-structured database is returned as a search result. The server caches the value based on the detection. In another embodiment, the server detects a threshold number of search queries that result in values being returned as search results from a target node. The server caches values at the target node based on the detection. In another embodiment, the server records search result heuristics that indicate a degree to which search results are expected from a set of search queries. The server obtains a merge query and establishes an order in which search queries in the merge query are to be executed based on the recorded search result heuristics.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of applying a function to a set of data. Initially a tabular representation of the set of data is displayed, the representation comprising a plurality of columns. The data in the representation is grouped in each column based upon an order of the at least one column in the tabular representation. The method also generates a new column of data comprising a transform of existing column data contained in the tabular representation, wherein transform data within the new column depends upon a grouping context of the existing column data. Desirably the method further repositions the new column of data in the tabular representation and updates the transform data in the new column in accordance with a destination grouping context of a destination position of the new column in the tabular representation.

The mounting assembly includes a steering column member having a first aperture extending along an aperture axis. The mounting assembly also includes a rigid member extending between first and second ends along the aperture axis in the first aperture. The mounting assembly also includes a resilient member extending along the aperture axis in the first aperture past at least one of the first and second ends of the rigid member.

Abstract: A precast steel reinforced concrete bridge unit has an arcuate top wall integrally connecting opposite side walls, and a series of precast reinforced concrete counterforts are releasably connected to the top wall of the bridge unit at laterally spaced intervals. The counterforts have vertical end surfaces spaced from an end surface of the bridge unit, and end portions of reinforcing bars project from the vertical end surfaces of the counterforts. An end surface of the bridge unit is located on a horizontal casting surface, and a reinforced concrete headwall is cast on the casting surface with the reinforcing bars depending from the counterforts embedded in the concrete forming the headwall. After curing, the concrete headwall and counterforts are removed as a unit from the bridge unit to facilitate handling and shipping of the bridge unit and headwall and counterfort unit.

Abstract: The invention provides a snap-in capsule for releasibly connecting a steering column to a vehicle. The snap-in capsule includes a metal insert for reducing creep of the steering column with respect to the vehicle. The metal insert has top and bottom surfaces and a slot extending along an axis for receiving a bolt. The snap-in capsule also includes a plastic capsule body for providing a mechanical fuse between the metal insert and the steering column. The plastic capsule body has a first snap-fit portion being deformable to receive the metal insert and fix the plastic capsule body and the metal insert with respect to one another.
