  • Patent number: 10098448
Abstract: The toothbrush timer is a timing device that is configured for use with a toothbrush. The toothbrush is further defined with a bristle end and a grip end. The toothbrush timer removably attaches to the grip end of the toothbrush. The timing device is a countdown timer that times the duration of brushing activities. The toothbrush timer comprises a toothbrush, a sheath, and a timing circuit. The timing circuit is contained within the sheath. The sheath attaches to the toothbrush. To use the toothbrush timer, the timing circuit is initiated and the toothbrush is used normally until the timing circuit has completed its countown.

  • Patent number: 9739002
Abstract: The pile cutter 10 according to the invention allows tufted goods to be produced using materials which, for example, have a friction-reducing coating for forming a dirt-repellant surface that is soft to the touch. Such materials are known to be problematic in the production of pile and occasionally irregular pile is produced. Adjacent to the narrow cutting edge 25 of the pile cutter 10 according to the invention is a comparatively broader step 27 and 33, which prevents the loop from slipping, without cutting into the latter.

  • Publication number: 20070085317
Abstract: The invention provides a mounting assembly for a steering column of a vehicle and a method for mounting a steering column to a vehicle. The mounting assembly includes a steering column member having a first aperture extending along an aperture axis. The mounting assembly also includes a rigid member extending between first and second ends along the aperture axis in the first aperture. The mounting assembly also includes a resilient member extending along the aperture axis in the first aperture past at least one of the first and second ends of the rigid member.

  • Publication number: 20070059102
Abstract: A precast steel reinforced concrete bridge unit has an arcuate top wall integrally connecting opposite side walls, and a series of precast reinforced concrete counterforts are releasably connected to the top wall of the bridge unit at laterally spaced intervals. The counterforts have vertical end surfaces spaced from an end surface of the bridge unit, and end portions of reinforcing bars project from the vertical end surfaces of the counterforts. An end surface of the bridge unit is located on a horizontal casting surface, and a reinforced concrete headwall is cast on the casting surface with the reinforcing bars depending from the counterforts embedded in the concrete forming the headwall. After curing, the concrete headwall and counterforts are removed as a unit from the bridge unit to facilitate handling and shipping of the bridge unit and headwall and counterfort unit.

  • Publication number: 20060157965
Abstract: The invention provides a snap-in capsule for releasibly connecting a steering column to a vehicle. The snap-in capsule includes a metal insert for reducing creep of the steering column with respect to the vehicle. The metal insert has top and bottom surfaces and a slot extending along an axis for receiving a bolt. The snap-in capsule also includes a plastic capsule body for providing a mechanical fuse between the metal insert and the steering column. The plastic capsule body has a first snap-fit portion being deformable to receive the metal insert and fix the plastic capsule body and the metal insert with respect to one another.
