  • Patent number: 11966441
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide a real-time Q&A interface, such as an online chatbot, either standing alone or as a live agent assistant, with predicative Q&A and resource suggestions. In one embodiment, the real-time Q&A interface uses data extracted from a user inquiry to identify and display a primary response, identify suggested inquiries from a knowledgebase and provide a user-selectable suggested inquiries indicator, and identify suggested content items from related content libraries or webpages and provide user-selectable suggested content item indicators. In one embodiment, the suggested content items include related videos and links to webpages with related content.

  • Publication number: 20240120810
Abstract: A method and apparatus serve to mount a calibrated encoder assembly to an electric motor so that a sensor output signal waveform produced by the calibrated encoder assembly is aligned with a back electromotive force (BEMF) waveform of the electric motor. The calibrated encoder assembly is fixed to an alignment plate, which is attached to the electric motor. The electric motor is rotated using a servo driven functional tester and the BEMF waveform of the electric motor is measured. The sensor output signal waveform is measured, and the alignment plate is adjusted relative to the electric motor to align the sensor output signal waveform to the BEMF waveform. The alignment plate is secured to the electric motor in the adjusted orientation.

  • Patent number: 11945123
Abstract: A system and method for providing real-time, sensory information associated with a remote location using a remote capture device and a head-mounted display. In some embodiments, the system comprises a fiber-optic cable to transmit a signal comprising sensory information collected by the remote capture device to the head-mounted display. Further, the remote capture device may be secured onto a boom of an aerial device.

  • Publication number: 20110093510
Abstract: A portable electronic medical device and method for serially transmitting one or more records from the portable electronic medical device are disclosed. The portable electronic medical device includes a processor and memory for storing the one or more records, each record having one or more data entries. An XML (Extensible Markup Language) template may be parsed by the processor, wherein the XML template has one or more XML elements associated with the one or more data entries. The one or more records may be read as well as the XML elements appended to the associated data entries of each record by the processor such that the appended data entries are in XML format. The processor may then serially transmit the appended data entries of each record.

  • Patent number: 6801865
Abstract: A commodity-meter management system including commodity meters (e.g., electrical energy meters, gas meters, and/or water meters), one or more servers, and a communications application to communicate between the meters and the servers. The meters are connected to the servers via communication mediums. The communications application can communicate bi-directionally in real-time between the meters and the servers via the communication mediums. The communications application can determine the actual configuration parameters according to which the meter is operating at any given time. In order to detect theft of a commodity, the communications application can compare the actual configuration parameters to default configuration parameters. If the actual and default configuration parameters are not equal, substantially equal, or within a predetermined threshold, the communications application indicates that a tamper event has occurred.
