  • Patent number: 10967837
Abstract: A security device is disclosed. The security device includes multiple fingerprint sensors. Activating the security device requires users to enter an authentication sequence comprised of different finger-to-fingerprint-sensor combinations. This increases the number of available distinct elements that can be used in an authentication sequence of a given length for a fixed number of buttons. The device also combines two different modes of authentication to improve security. The security device can be integrated into motor vehicles, mobile computing devices or other systems.

  • Publication number: 20070174876
Abstract: A communication gateway can provide a residence or a premises with access to multiple communication services, including reception of TV signals and bidirectional data communication. The gateway can reformat incoming TV signals to provide compatibility with an onsite TV. The incoming TV signals may be digital or may provide a higher level of pixel definition or screen resolution than the onsite TV is configured to handle. The gateway can convert the incoming TV signals into an analog form or can reduce the pixel definition for reception by the onsite TV. To support bidirectional data communications, the gateway can comprise a wireless interface to a LAN and an interface to broader network, such as a WAN. The gateway can process data signals flowing between the LAN and the WAN to provide format compatibility and can track media exposure. In one exemplary embodiment, the WAN can transmit television signals as packets.

  • Patent number: 7193333
Abstract: The present invention is a gasoline engine driven electrical generating system for use in confined space enclosures wherein all routine servicing can be accomplished from the single exposed side. The ambient operating temperature of the confined enclosure is minimized by a combination of component locations, sizing and a thermal siphoning exhaust enclosure. Through the use of an electronic fuel management system, throttle body furl injection and a catalytic converter all current EPA NOX emission standards can be met.

  • Publication number: 20060206373
Abstract: A timing threshold is used for determining when to issue an alert indicating installation of a replacement part is overdue. To determine the time threshold, a replacement part is ordered according to a service alert for a device. The device is monitored to determine when the replacement part is installed. The timing threshold is then determined based at least in part on a time between when the replacement part was ordered and when the replacement part was installed.
