Abstract: A bee nutrition device is configured with a frame positionable between the brood chamber and honey super components of a stacked bee hive. Fondant and/or water or nurturing liquid is positionable within trays located within a recess located with a sidewall of the frame of the device. Access into and out of the recess for bees can be regulated by a translating member having openings therein which can be selectively aligned with the central opening communicating through the bottom surface of the frame.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of using a charged particle microscope for inspecting a sample mounted on a sample holder. The microscope is equipped with a solid state detector for detecting secondary particles emanating from the sample in response to irradiation of the sample with the primary beam, with the solid state detector in direct optical view of the sample. In some embodiments, the sample is mounted on a heater with a fast thermal response time. The method comprises contactless measurement of the temperature of the sample and/or sample holder using the solid state detector.

A medical instrument is identified that is to be used by the actor and an association is indicated between the medical instrument and the actor. A user plays the role of the actor.
