  • Publication number: 20240150493
Abstract: Provided herein, in one aspect, are antibodies that immunospecifically bind to a human KIT antigen comprising the fourth and/or fifth extracellular Ig-like domains (that is, D4 and/or D5 domains), polynucleotides comprising nucleotide sequences encoding such antibodies, and expression vectors and host cells for producing such antibodies. The antibodies can inhibit KIT activity, such as ligand-induced receptor phosphorylation. Also provided herein are kits and pharmaceutical compositions comprising antibodies that specifically bind to a KIT antigen, as well as methods of treating or managing a KIT-associated disorder or disease and methods of diagnosing a KIT-associated disorder or disease using the antibodies described herein.

  • Publication number: 20080105635
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for unfolding and dispensing diapers. The system includes a dispenser and a folded diaper that is within the dispenser. The folded diaper includes a first longitudinal fold that is between a main portion and a first side portion and a second longitudinal fold that is between the main portion and a second side portion. The dispenser includes a first projection that unfolds the first longitudinal fold as the diaper is removed from the dispenser and a second projection that unfolds the second longitudinal fold as the diaper is removed from the dispenser. The system may make it easier for care givers to perform multiple diaper changes per day.

  • Publication number: 20070090009
Abstract: The present invention provides a compressed package of articles having a packaging component with a seal, and a plurality of compressible articles in an array having an uncompressed length. The compressible articles are compressed to a first compressed state having a first compressed length and disposed within the packaging component in the first compressed state. The packaging component retains the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state, and the packaging component and the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state form a package having a first package volume. Vacuum compression is used to compress the packaging component and the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state disposed in the packaging component together to a second compressed state having a second package volume. The array of compressible articles has a second compressed length after the vacuum compression.

  • Publication number: 20060135935
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for unfolding and dispensing diapers. The system includes a dispenser and a folded diaper that is within the dispenser. The dispenser engages the diaper to unfold the diaper as the diaper is removed from the dispenser. The method includes grasping a folded diaper that is at least partially within a dispenser and removing the folded diaper from the dispenser such that the dispenser unfolds the diaper. The system and method may make it easier for care givers to perform multiple diaper changes per day.

  • Publication number: 20050121348
Abstract: A package for articles includes a structural insert for supporting a stack of articles, and a flexible outer covering containing the insert and the articles. The insert has a base and two opposed side walls extending from the base to define a generally U-shaped channel for receiving and supporting the stack of articles. Each side wall of the insert includes at least one cut-out for reducing the mass and bulk of the insert while retaining sufficient strength for stacking the package above and below other such packages.

  • Publication number: 20050086158
Abstract: The invention is a system for an automated house tour guide that improves the exchange of information between a seller and a prospective buyer, where that information is normally only available through a combination of pictures and datasheets of a house, a number of public databases, an informed real estate agency, and a seller of the house. The invention merges these sources and puts them at the fingertips of the prospective buyer so that the buyer can take a self-directed tour of the house, or in the company of an agent of the buyer, or in the company of the seller. The system is composed of a portable computerized communication device having a graphic user interface with a touch-screen, a speaker, and a means for loading data to the device; a database software application that contains a script that provides information about the corresponding house; and a proximity/motion sensor. The motion sensor can be disabled, as appropriate.
