  • Patent number: 8042291
Abstract: An aroma visual message carrier is shaped into a card device for carrying multisensory messages to deliver two interchangeable images with a scent releasing mechanism linked to the very act of image change by a recipient. The carrier comprises an image changing frame including a still image member with a first image printed on it and a sliding image member with a second image print partially interlaced with the still image member so that a manual sliding action of the still image member brings the two images interchangeably fade in and out laterally through each other. The still image member has a deposit of scent material formed rearward of its visual side.

  • Publication number: 20100287799
Abstract: A microphone air sensor card has a microphone, a circuit having an integrated circuit, a memory, a first transistor and a second transistor. The microphone is biased by a VDD so that the first transistor and the second transistor activate as switches to relay a microphone signal to a microphone input on the integrated circuit. A light element is also included. The integrated circuit turns off the light element when the microphone hears airflow. A primary page and a secondary page house the circuit. The secondary page has an inside portion and an outside portion. The circuit and light element are both disposed within the secondary page between the inside portion and the outside portion.

  • Patent number: 7780588
Abstract: A sound-producing folding insert for a magazine is disclosed. A foldable support structure comprises a primary page and a secondary page. The secondary page is folded upon itself to form a pocket that retains a sound emitting means. The sound emitting means includes an electronic microchip sound generating device that includes a switch means connected at one end to a slidable tongue mechanism that is attached at the other end to the primary page, such that upon opening of the folding insert by separating the primary and secondary pages the slidable tongue mechanism allows the switch means to close, thereby activating the sound emitting means. Conversely, closing the folding insert brings the primary and secondary pages together forces the slidable tongue mechanism to open the switch means, and thereby deactivating the sounds emitting means. The sound emitting means is relatively flat and includes a generally flat speaker mounted to the secondary page.

  • Publication number: 20090184170
Abstract: A stored value card has a housing including an upper shell and lower shell forming a space between the shells, wherein the housing forms a slot shaped to receive a card. A rotating element has a graphic image imprinted on the disc. The rotating element rotates by electrical motor. The upper shell has a window allowing viewing of at least a portion of the rotating element. A speaker element provides sound. An account identifier signifying a financial account is linked to the stored value card, and the account identifier is on the housing. An electronic controller may supply three phases to a first and a second coil groups for at least a pair of coils. The three phases supplied to each of the pair of coils are a North phase, a South phase, and a neutral phase on a first coil, a second coil and a third coil.

  • Publication number: 20090140042
Abstract: An encased stored value card for decoratively presenting is provided comprising an electronic light and/or audio circuit with a switch and a lighting element and/or a speaker; and a housing for holding the electronic circuit permanently as well as the card removably. The housing may have different opening schemes including an upper shell and a lower shell joined by one or more hinge connections and a lock to allow the shells to swivel between a closed position where the upper shell mates with the lower shell temporarily and an open position for retrieval of the card. The electronic circuit is generally embedded in the housing but for the lighting element and speaker so that the lighting element is partially exposed through the housing and is configured to illuminate upon activation of the switch and at the same time the speaker propagates sound at perforations locally formed through the housing.

  • Patent number: 7475804
Abstract: A food container has a box base with four side panels and four bottom flaps extending from the respective side panels to close the floor of the box base leaving the top open. The bottom flaps are so designed and glued together that the box sides can be folded flat for stacking and then unfolded into a box structure having its bottom wall closed automatically. The box base provides food-receiving area while carrying and serving the eatery. Raised from the top of the box base are circumferential edges defining a tray top. The tray top carries out the decorative role when it is popped open as is possible thanks to the inventive folding scheme implemented in the tray top. The tray top also has carrying handles for the user. The front face of the tray top in the serving mode can be decorated with various cutouts shaped as interesting objects.
