  • Patent number: 11963691
Abstract: A surgical instrument, has an end effector that includes an ultrasonic blade, and a clamp arm that moves relative to the ultrasonic blade from an opened position toward an intermediate position and a closed position. The clamp arm is offset from the ultrasonic blade to define a predetermined gap in the intermediate position between the opened position and the closed position. A clamp arm actuator connects to the clamp arm and moves from an opened configuration to a closed configuration to direct the clamp arm from the opened position toward the intermediate position and the closed position. A spacer connects with the clamp arm to inhibit movement of the clamp arm from the intermediate position toward the closed position for maintaining the predetermined gap between the clamp arm and the ultrasonic blade.

  • Patent number: 6196401
Abstract: A shelving system includes a shelf and support frame and a novel structure for interconnecting the rails that form the shelf. Specifically, a first shelf rail includes a downwardly depending tongue and an outwardly projecting tab. A second shelf rail includes a side wall and a shelf supporting shoulder. A first slot is provided in a shoulder for receiving the tongue and a second slot is provided in the sidewall for receiving the tab. The tab and tongue are provided in substantially perpendicular planes and when connected the bottom wall of the first rail rests upon the shoulder of the second rail. A crosstie further secures the structure.

  • Patent number: 5797502
Abstract: A universal, height-adjustable bracket is provided for mounting a gravity flow rack product delivery system to an upright post of a support framework. The bracket includes an elongated body having first and second sets of fastening tabs projecting from opposite sidewalls thereof. The first and second set of fastening tabs are longitudinally offset from one another in order to provide relative height adjustability. A channel for engaging and supporting the gravity flow rack system extends transversely across the elongated body between the first and second sidewalls and sets of fastening tabs. Accordingly, by rotating the bracket 180.degree. about the longitudinal axis, the bracket may be used to cooperatively engage either right or left handed upright posts.
