  • Publication number: 20240013519
Abstract: The invention provides artificial intelligence-enabled image recognition methods and systems for continuously training a computer system to accurately identify a surgical item in a tray using at least 100 randomly created 2-dimensional images of a 3-dimensional synthetic item having unique identifiers assigned to the images or item. The invention also provides an artificial intelligence-enabled image recognition method and system for use to determine whether surgical instruments are present or missing on a surgical tray, and, if applicable, identifying those missing. In one aspect, a server receives an image and analyzes the image with a deep convolutional neural network to classify the type of tray and then compares a list of items that should be on the tray to that which the computer recognizes on the tray to generate an output displayed to a user identifying the items present and/or missing.

  • Publication number: 20230351409
Abstract: A service provider that provides a plurality of merchant services can obtain first merchant information associated with a plurality of merchants registered with the service provider. The service provider can obtain intent data associated with the merchants indicating merchant service(s) that individual merchants of the plurality of merchants use or indicated interest in using during onboarding with the service provider. A machine learning model can be trained using the first merchant information and the intent data. The service provider can receive an indication that a potential merchant has initiated an onboarding process with the service provider. The service provider can determine second merchant information associated with the potential merchant and, based at least in part on the second merchant information and the machine learning model, can determine merchant service(s) of the service provider that the potential merchant is predicted to intend to use.

  • Publication number: 20230253101
Abstract: A system and process for dynamically managing a procedure. The system includes a data collection device(s) that objectively monitor a subject and transmit such information to the system and real time position components that report on the availability of an individual(s) to perform the procedure. The system reviews the information, provides a subject diagnosis and recommends equipment. The system can also schedule and monitor the procedure. The individual(s) performing the procedure have the option of consulting with relevant experts and visually interacting with the experts.

  • Patent number: 11720905
Abstract: Intelligent merchant onboarding is described. A service provider can determine first directive(s) that were presented to one or more first potential merchants that completed an onboarding process with the service provider and second directive(s) that were presented to one or more second potential merchants that did not complete the onboarding process. The service provider can train a data model based at least partly on the first directive(s) or the second directive(s), Based at least partly on receiving an indication that a potential merchant initiates the onboarding process, the service provider can determine information associated with the potential merchant. Based at least partly on the data model and the information, the service provider can intelligently determine an order that one or more directives are to be presented to the potential merchant such that a first directive of the first directive(s) is presented prior to a second directive of the second directive(s).

  • Patent number: 10679062
Abstract: Methods, hardware, and software establish surfaces for graphics processing by setting a position of the capture device fixed on or relative to that surface. A user may hold the device against the surface or through other means. Ambient setting, potentially including the surface itself, is visually captured at the position. Using that position the surface is established—readily known by position, size, shape, etc. within the surroundings. Stable positioning can be determined in any way, using any data. Motion of the device may be known via internal or external sensors, and stable surface touching can be detected with a lack of motion. A user may input when the device is steady. Abutment can be measured from visual input or impact sensors. All such input may determine and/or verify a stable position. Visual input from the stable position may thus be used to establish the surface for graphical processing.

  • Publication number: 20150067582
Abstract: A method of content presentation on a device is disclosed. The method includes: presenting a media presentation structure through a view window on a display screen of the device, wherein the media presentation structure includes multiple presentation layers; detecting a navigation command through an input stream from an input hardware of the device, wherein the navigation command enables the view window to traverse through presentation of a first presentation layer of the media presentation structure; determining when the navigation command indicates a layer transition from the first presentation layer to a second presentation layer by determining whether the navigation command exceeds a limit of the first presentation layer; and rendering a transition sequence of the layer transition when the layer transition is indicated.
