  • Publication number: 20230128752
Abstract: A fire pit cover includes a cap body, a bottom sleeve, a first high-temperature thread, a second high-temperature thread, a weighted ring, and a pair of handles. The cap body includes a flat top portion and an annular lateral portion. The flat top portion, the annular lateral portion, the bottom sleeve, and the pair of handles is made of a silica-glass-fabric material to withstand high temperature of the fire pit/stove. A top end of the annular lateral portion is perimetrically hermetically connected around the flat top portion to the flat top portion through the first high-temperature thread. The bottom sleeve is perimetrically positioned around a bottom end of the annular lateral portion and hermetically connected to the annular lateral portion through the second high-temperature thread. The weighted ring is enclosed within the bottom sleeve. The pair of handles is laterally connected to the annular lateral portion.

  • Publication number: 20210353100
Abstract: A flexible cover body is configured to shield an outdoor cooking apparatus such as a gas grill, a charcoal grill, and a smoker. The flexible cover body includes a substrate, an inner silicone layer, and an outer silicone layer. The outer silicone layer is superimposed across the substrate as the outer silicone layer and the substrate are positioned coextensive with each other. The inner silicone layer is superimposed across the substrate, opposite of the outer silicone layer, as the inner silicone layer and the substrate is positioned coextensive with each other. Collectively the substrate, the inner silicone layer, and the outer silicone layer form a ultraviolet light resistance and waterproof cover that enable the user to immediately cover the grill or smoker without having to wait for the grill or smoker to cool down.

  • Publication number: 20190247224
Abstract: An apparatus for improving dexterity of the bare hands in cold temperatures includes heating pads 10 disposed on the forehead, cheeks and forearms. The heating pads 10a, 10b, 10c on the forehead and cheeks stimulate the trigeminal nerve area to increase blood flow to the fingers. The heating pads 10d, 10d on the forearms 24, 24 increase the temperature of the blood flowing to the hands. Thermocouples 32 in each heating pad 10 are connected to a set-point controller 28.

  • Patent number: 8727172
Abstract: A container comprises a receptacle defining a space where the receptacle comprises a wall having a draft. A divider is mounted to the receptacle such that the divider rotates between a first position and a second position such that when the divider is in the first position the space defines a single space and when the divider is in the second position the divider defines two spaces. In another embodiment a divider is mounted to the receptacle such that the divider translates between a first position and a second position such that when the divider is in the first position the space defines a single space and when the divider is in the second position the divider defines two spaces.

  • Publication number: 20080235189
Abstract: A method and system of searching for information on a network includes receiving a search query from a user by a search system, processing the search query by a profile engine of the search system, providing a listing of search results, including personas who know about the search query, based on profiles and posts of the personas, where the personas are users of the search system, and facilitating further interaction with the listing of personas and tags for related content.

  • Publication number: 20020067603
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for determining a location of a coated region on a braided structure. The system includes at least one light source for illuminating the braided structure and at least one detector for detecting an optical contrast between the braided structure and the coated region. A data processor may be provided for determining the location of the coated region based on the detected optical contrast. The light source may be an ultraviolet light source, and the detector detects a fluorescent emission from at least one strand or filament, e.g. a monofilament, that forms a part of the braided structure. More specifically, the detector detects at least one of a reduction or an increase in a fluorescent emission from the least one filament, where the reduction and/or the increase is due to the presence of the coated region that overlies the at least one filament.

  • Patent number: 6367410
Abstract: A closed-loop, dome thermal control apparatus containing a high-volume fan, a heat exchange chamber, and an enclosure that encloses the fan and the heat exchange chamber. The fan blows air over a dome of a semiconductor wafer processing system and through the heat exchange chamber to uniformly control the temperature of a dome of a plasma chamber to prevent particle contamination of the wafer. The enclosure recirculates the temperature controlled air to the fan to form a closed-loop apparatus.
