Abstract: A fishing pole positioning strap for maintaining the position of a fishing pole is provided. In some embodiments, the strap may include an elongate body having a proximal end, a distal end, a first surface, and a second surface. A first fastening element may be disposed on the first surface and a second fastening element may be disposed on the second surface. The first fastening element and second fastening element may be configured to be removably coupled together. A cushioning pad may be coupled to the first surface of the elongate body such as by being coupled proximate to the proximal end.
