  • Patent number: 11622147
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that apply a blur filter to a digital video stream of a user to a recipient based on blur settings. The disclosed system receives a request to initiate a digital video communication between a first user (e.g., a customer) associated with a first user client device and a second user (e.g., an agent) associated with a second user client device. The disclosed system determines a blur setting (e.g., a degree of blur and an amount of time) associated with the second user indicating to blur a digital video stream from the first user client device at the second user client device. The disclosed system initiates the digital video communication by presenting a blur filter on the digital video stream according to the blur setting for display at the second user client device.

  • Publication number: 20230026981
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that obscure digital video streams during digital video communications while maintaining connections corresponding to the digital video communications. The disclosed system determines that a first user client device is involved in an ongoing digital video communication with a second user client device in which the first client device is receiving a digital video stream from the second user client device. The disclosed system provides, to the first user client device, an option to obscure the digital video stream from the second user client (e.g., via a “panic button” interface element). In response to a selection of the option, the disclosed system then obscures the digital video stream at the first user client device while maintaining a connection corresponding to the digital video communication between the first user client device and the second user client device.

  • Patent number: 11523087
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for establishing a video connection between a client device and a notary support terminal while enabling the client device and notary support terminal to notarize a digital document. In particular, the client device can display multiple panes simultaneously, the multiple panes including a first pane that displays the video chat and a second pane that displays at least one notarization interface for notarizing the digital document. While the client device displays the multiple panes and during the video chat, the disclosed systems can notarize the digital document by authenticating the user of the client device, collecting signatures from the user of the client device and the notary associated with the notary support terminal, and applying an electronic notary seal to the digital document.

  • Patent number: 11218665
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for establishing a video connection between a client device and a support terminal while enabling the support terminal to concurrently push display element triggers to the client device through a separate connection. In particular, a display element trigger can cause the client device to display, within a dual pane display of the client device, a display element within one pane and a video chat in another pane. The display element can include a check deposit element that enables a user of the client device to capture one or more images of a check and then transmit the image(s) for deposit by the support terminal during a video chat. The support terminal can analyze the image(s) of the check to identify check deposit data and then deposit the check accordingly while a support representative communicates with the user of the client device via the video chat.

  • Patent number: 11017239
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an emotive recognition and feedback system that identifies emotive states of users within a video chat session and determines communication recommendations based on the interaction of the participants' emotive states. For instance, the emotive recognition and feedback system analyzes a video data to determine the participants' individual emotive states. Based on mapping the participants' individual emotive states, the emotive recognition and feedback system can determine a communication recommendation for the video chat. Additionally, the emotive response system provides graphical user interfaces that presents the communication recommendation to the video chat participants. The emotive recognition and feedback system can perform real-time analysis and feedback or delayed analytics of previously performed video chats.

  • Publication number: 20210014453

  • Patent number: 10511805
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a workflow and notifying a user of the workflow using a variety of communication channels. For example, in one or more embodiments, a system generates a workflow comprising a plurality of tasks and one or more display elements corresponding to the workflow tasks. Subsequently, the system sends a first notification to a user regarding the first task via a first communication channel (e.g., a mobile application) and sends a second notification via a second communication channel (e.g., email). If the system receives a user selection of one of the notifications from a client device associated with the user, the system can subsequently provide a first display element corresponding to the first task to the client device via the corresponding communication channel.
