Abstract: A power supplying device that can be used during emergencies is disclosed. The device comprises multiple adjustable battery compartments that can be connected, via switches, to deliver power to an external device connected to at least one power delivery port of the power supplying device. Each adjustable battery compartment includes a fixed lead and a sliding lead so that the multiple different battery sizes can be inserted into the compartment and connected to the device. An external battery connection device or harness can also be used with the power supplying device. The external battery connection device can be used to connect various different kinds of batteries with the power supplying device, such as cordless power tool batteries, cordless appliance batteries, and batteries for radio controlled (RC) devices.

Abstract: A self-modifying data container for improved data security and methods of use are disclosed. The self-modifying data container includes a data storage structure for storing financial transaction information. The self-modifying data container also includes a data manager stored as code within the container. The data manager can run on a system hosting the self-modifying data container. The data manager can access transaction information in the data storage structure and modify the data in response to modification triggers. The data manager can delete data in the data storage structure. The data manager can also encrypt data in the data storage structure. The self-modifying data container improves both data security and data privacy.

Abstract: An augmented reality system may include a data gathering device configured to collect data regarding an environment exterior to the vehicle. In addition, the system may include a vehicle controller including a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions, executable by the processor, for performing the following steps: receiving data from the data gathering device; and transmitting information to a set of augmented reality goggles in order to facilitate a projection of a modified view of an interior of the vehicle based on the data collected regarding the environment exterior to the vehicle.

Abstract: A method and system of identifying a location of an obstruction site in a plumbing system is disclosed. The system and method are configured to allow for the deployment of a smart sensor device into a pipeline and transmit data regarding its location and external conditions to a nearby monitoring device. Upon arriving at an obstruction in the pipeline, the sensor device can automatically transmit a signal indicating the current location of the sensor device.

Abstract: A method and system of providing product-specific information to a user during shopping excursions is disclosed. The user can access a smart shopping assistant application to search for supplemental items that may need to be purchased in order to assemble or implement a desired product. The user can maintain a current home inventory of tools and products through the application to quickly determine whether any of the supplemental items are already in the user's possession. The application can also guide the user from their current location to the location of the required item, as well as present reminders to the user about the supplemental items during their shopping trip to ensure the user returns home with all of the required items.
