    Abstract: The invention provides a substantially child resistant package. A gate panel (110) and a tab panel (140) are secured to an aperture panel (120). At least one aperture (123) is formed on the aperture panel. At least one gate (114) is formed on the gate panel and is aligned with the aperture when the gate panel is in contact with the aperture panel. At least one partially detachable tab (146) is formed on the tab panel and is aligned with the gate when the tab panel is in contact with the gate panel. In an exemplary package, a blister package (11) is aligned with and secured to the aperture panel. The gate panel is secured to the aperture panel and blister package. The tab panel is secured to the gate panel.

    Abstract: A lockable container includes a lockable sleeve and a slideable platform. The slideable platform can be stored in the lockable sleeve. The sleeve and the slideable platform can each have one or more of an engaging mechanism and a receiving mechanism, with reciprocal engaging mechanisms and/or receiving mechanisms being included at the other element. A release button can be included in the sleeve to disengage the engaging mechanism from the receiving mechanism. A deactivation tool can be provided that selectively prevents the engaging mechanism from engaging the receiving mechanism. The tool can be a stand-alone part, or can be joined to a jacket or a deactivation clip. The jacket can be slideably attached to the sleeve, and the deactivation clip can be inserted into or clipped onto the sleeve.

A foldable portion 12 connected to the lockable container allows a unit dose pack 20 or a blister card 72 to be temporarily or permanently attached to a flap 16 or other structure within the container. Similarly, a blister card 70 connected to a lockable container 10 allows a blister pack 20 to be temporarily or permanently mounted to the blister card 70. Also, taught is a method of mounting a blister pack to a blister card.

    Abstract: Taught herein is a package for holding and storing various types of portable items. A pre-formed tray (12, 26) is configured to receive and store portable items of any size and shape. The tray is attached to a slide card (10), loaded with the items, and inserted into an outer sleeve (100). Receiving recesses (42, 44, 46, 48) hold the items in the tray. An engaging element (22) integral to the card or tray cooperatively engages locking elements and stopping elements (108, 120) integral to the outer sleeve. The cooperative engagement of the elements provides a child-resistant feature and a spill-resistant feature. A release element 130 disengages the child-resistant feature.
