  • Patent number: 11925731
Abstract: Provided are methods, devices and compositions for reducing and/or inhibiting postsurgical tissue adhesion using a hydrogel film disposed onto a target tissue, thereby providing an adhesion barrier that remains over said target tissue for a prescribed period of time. In some embodiments, the hydrogel film is formed by the gelation of a pre-gel mixture applied onto the target tissue as a plurality of particles having an average maximum dimension, such as diameter, of at most about 500 ?m. In some embodiments, the hydrogel film has a minimum storage modulus of 100 Pa. In some embodiments, the pre-gel mixture comprises an ECM digest having a collagen to carbohydrate ratio (by mass) of at least 70:1.

  • Publication number: 20120055316
Abstract: A scented article manufactured from a sintered metal powder. The metal powder may be one or more metals, one or more alloys, or any combination or mixture thereof. The scented article is of a weight sufficient to sink to a depth in the water and shaped such that, when urged through the water, the lure moves in a substantially oscillating motion. The scented article is impregnated with a scent, such as a fish attractant, that is slowly diffused in the water as the scented article is urged through the water. A method of manufacturing a scented article is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7950330
Abstract: A projectile includes a compacted and sintered mixture of a plurality of tungsten particles that are from about 8 microns to about 30 microns in size; a plurality of iron particles that are from about 40 microns to about 200 microns in size; and a material additive. At least a portion of the plurality of iron particles are bonded together. There are no intermetallic compounds or alloys of the tungsten particles and the iron particles formed due, in part, to the size of the tungsten particles and the size of the iron particles utilized. The final density of the projectile is from about 8.0 grams per cubic centimeter to about 12.2 grams per cubic centimeter and the final hardness of the projectile is from about 10 HB to about 50 HB. The ratio of the mixture of tungsten particles to iron particles is, by weight, from about 30:70 to about 65:35.
